She cut of his hand just can't get past that. She cut off his hand!!! Overall good episode, the whole Michael and Alex thing was awkward for everyone I think, even me. All I can say is that doesn't it look at little neat and easy that they were able to take out the mole and a untraceable and legendary "watcher" all in one episode?

    • Michael: Nikita, any news on our shape-shifting friend?
Nikita: Well, he came here for a show, and you guys are giving him nothing. We need him to accomplish his mission, force him to exit.
Michael: What do you have in mind?
      Nikita: Kiss her.
      Michael: Are you joking?
Nikita: Michael, jokes are funny. We're on a mission, okay? Be a good little spy and kiss her.

    • Sonya: Everyone in here is trying to save me, and all I've done is jeopardize your lives by not asking for help sooner. Besides, I want revenge for what she's done to me. (referring to Amanda) Let's bait the bitch.
Nikita: I knew I liked her.

    • Anne: Why do you trust Sonya?
Amanda: She has an explosive in her brainstem that I have on speed dial. Who needs trust?

  • NOTES (3)

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • Nikita: Who watches the watchman?

This is a reference to the 1986 graphic novel Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, which was adapted into a feature film by director Zack Snyder in 2009. Watchmen, in turn, was alluding to an epigram attributed to the ancient Roman poet Juvenal: "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?", literally: "Who will guard the guards themselves?" Many writers, among them Moore in Watchmen, have used this epigram to comment on Plato's Republic.
