Episode Summary

EDIT

Nikita is upset when Birkoff tells her that information in the black box indicates a man named Ramon, who she captured years earlier and turned over to Percy, is now working for Division as an assassin. Amanda convinces Alex to kill Anton Kochenko, a man who once worked for her father, and sets up Ramon so that he will be charged with the murder. However, when Nikita interferes with Amanda's plan, Amanda retaliates by taking what Nikita values most.

  • Nikita is BACK

    10
After 2 episodes of boring remote controlled airplanes and brainwashed people Nikita is finally back onto its original heading of Alex and Nikita's past and future. That emotion that brought me into the show in the first place is coming back with suspense scenes and tense, troubling decisions give this show an intense and emotional touch. In this episode Nikita hears about Ramon, an old target Division had assigned to her and that is now covering some Division operatives. Nikita and Michael track Ramon back to Colombia and discover he is handicapped and sitting in a wheelchair; in the meantime Amanda sends Alex to kill one of the people responsible for his parents' murder. But when Nikita blows the cover and Michael escapes from Amanda's trap, Amanda orders Alex to abort. Alex seems to have an internal battle, but when the person who ordered the hit on her parents unexpectedly appears, she shoots her weapon and the episode ends, living us in the doubt of who did she shoot and what will happen next.

After this episode my love for Nikita is back, and I'm not going to miss "Partners", the next episode airing on Friday, October 14th.

I'm very glad Nikita is back, I've been a fan since the first episode and I see a lot of potential in this series. GO NIKITA.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • Goof: In the scene where Ramon escapes in his truck, he leaves the wheelchair behind when he climbs into the truck. Moments later, after Nikita chases him down by motorcycle and incapacitates his vehicle, you see Ramon outside the truck, sitting in his wheelchair.

    • We learn that Nikita's last name is 'Meers' when Ramon says her name toward the end of the episode. This is the first time Nikita's last name is mentioned in the series.

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Ramon: How does a scared little stray become so good at killing?
Nikita: I did what I had to do to survive.
Ramon: And now you're going to punish them for turning you into a monster? How dare you take a war worth fighting on principle, and turn it into payback.
Nikita: This is not about revenge.
Ramon: (sarcastically) Oh, no. This is so much bigger than you. You're going to save the world.
Nikita: Like you, six years ago? That night in Paris, it was the first time I realized I had to do something. That I could do something. I've been fighting your war all this time. Freedom isn't given; it's taken, right?

    • Ramon: Where are you going?
      Nikita: To get Michael.
Ramon: Well, they'll see you coming. You can't save him...you'll die.
      Nikita: I'm dead without him.

    • Michael: (referring to Ramon) Why didn't you kill him?
Nikita: He was real, Michael. And I believed him. I couldn't understand why a man like that would be working with Division.
Michael: Well, if there's anything that Percy knows how to do, it's how to buy a man's soul. He owned mine for ten years.
