Episode Summary

Michael becomes concerned when he learns that Cassandra is in trouble, and he rushes off to protect her. Michael discovers that General Tupelov has accused her of stealing two hundred million dollars and has threatened to kill her unless she returns the money. However, some inconsistencies in Cassandra's story cause Nikita to wonder what Cassandra might be hiding. Meanwhile, Percy presents Alex with a very tempting offer that could provide her with the resources to take out Semak.

  • Great but the surprise of Cassandra was too much

    8.0
This episode was turning out pretty good, and while I still enjoyed it, it is perhaps the weakest one script wise. The Cassandra situation started good but the moment where the car falls and Cassandra survives magically was very off. The way she survived the first time was epic, but here it felt silly. She happens to be a spy too what the heck, it kinda makes the previous episode of her pointless in some ways, and I loved that episode. Still a good episode nonetheless but I don't like Cassandra as a character anymore. Alex and Sean conversation felt out of character, oh I just came here to receive a kiss, what the heck! Thats how you pretend? I really wish Alex had more awesome time, outside like Nikita.moreless
  • Another episode ruined by unwatchable shaky cam / jump cut/ swoop / zoom / and so forth.

    1.0
I haven't finished watching the episode, but 1/4 in, the abysmal rating had me STOP my PVR and come here to vent.

The abysmal rating is for the AWFUL camerawork / editing. I watch TV to be entertained. I think the writing is excellent. The actors are great. But the "action" camerawork is "ugly radio". I have to close my eyes or avert my eyes, because the jump cut, shaky cam, swoops and zooms are annoying at the least, and unwatchable.

Now, if the intent of the show runners is to make a great RADIO show, they've got it. But as TV, they are KILLING this show for me.

I am not of the attention span disorder generation, and I don't need to have a mutating background, never ending movement, and bogus "excitement" from putrid imagery. It may be tolerable on a small monitor or an iPad, but on an eight foot wide HDTV screen, it's vomitous.

Whoever is promoting this dreck as desirable should spend a few hours in a tumble dryer, and then tell us all how wonderfully entertaining that was.

    Entertaining, it is not.

Annoying, it is. And that is not why I watch TV. And Nikita is a hair away from being permanently deleted from my PVR.

FYI - "Enter the Dragon" (Bruce Lee) had some of the best action photography ever. And the unwatchable shakiness was kept to a bare minimum. THAT should be the standard to aspire to.

    • Nikita: I know you, better than anyone. I know your heart, I know the way it works. You focus all your energy on one point. It's how you survived Division all those years. Focusing on revenge for your family, you made yourself blind to the truth.
Michael: Until you showed it to me. Nikita, I love you.
Nikita: I love you, too. But I'm not like you, Michael. You lost something I never had. Now you have a chance to get it back.
      Michael: Nikita, no.
Nikita: And because of that you have to take it, because if not you are gonna be left with 'what if'. That is the most dangerous question I know.
Michael: I didn't plan for this.
Nikita: There is no plan for this, only a question that you need to resolve. And you can't do it with me here.

    • Alex: Why are you doing this?
      Sean: Doing what?
Alex: Helping me. What's in it for you?
Sean: Let's just call it payback for that hit you took for me in the park.
Alex: You paid me back when you took out the shooter. What are you doing down here, anyway?
      Sean: God, you are paranoid.
