  • Terrific episode that gives Birkhoff/Stanford a chance to strut his stuff

Terrific episode that gives Birkhoff/Stanford a chance to strut his stuff. Even more importantly, fleshes out a supporting character who might otherwise have remained neglected and two dimensional.

The two leads in most shows aren't the only ones who need full humanity. Supporting characters need it as well. Not just to give the supporting actors a chance to shine, but to increase the emotional depth of the show overall.

The mutual respect depicted between Birkhoff and Nikita was touching.moreless
  • I loved this episode

This was such a great episode. I loved the scenes with Alex and Michael and the scenes with Nikita and Birkhoff. It was hilarious when Alex was acting like Birkhoff. The only part of the episode that sucked was the fact that they blew up 70 million dollars, but other than that, this was an amazing episode.

  • TRIVIA (1)

  • QUOTES (5)

    • (after Alex finds Roan's location)
Alex: You know, this could've taken hours, but it didn't, because I checked the toll-booth cameras first. I eliminated the automated booths, narrowed the time frame knowing Roan drives like a little old lady. Why? Because I am awesome! (off Nikita and Michael's looks) What? Birkhoff always gets to brag.

    • Birkhoff: I remember this one headline. "Who is Shadow Walker?" Had a silhouette and a question mark. Had a bounty on my head and everything. Division erased all that. That money, it was the last remaining evidence that I used to be something more than some computer geek.
Nikita: You are more than some computer geek, with or without the money. You know, when I'm out there risking my life, you are my lifeline. You're the voice in my ear, telling bad jokes and...getting me out safely. You are irreplaceable. And one of a kind. And that's a good thing, because I don't think the world could take two of you.

    • Birkhoff: Sorry about this. First you get shot, now you gotta wear that suit.
Nikita: The bullet I can handle. The suit and the blouse, we'll have to talk about later.

    • Birkhoff: What are you doing here?
Nikita: Saving your ass so I can kick it later.

    • Nikita: You know, if this whole saving the world from evil masterminds thing doesn't work out, I think we have a real future in armed robbery.
Michael: Does that mean we can rob a bank with actual money next time?
Nikita: Oh! You can be Robin Hood. I'll take the money, and give it to the poor.
Michael: Okay. For the record, I'm never wearing tights.
Nikita: Then I'm not doing it.
      Michael: Fine, I'll wear tights.

    • Alex: (to Michael) You know, we could use satellite images to measure the distance from the bumper to the ground and see which truck is carrying the heavier load. (Michael looks at her) Hey, I saw it in a movie once.
