Sean, Julia and Matt were all in S4's ridiculous "Conor McNamara 2026," so unless they decide to make that episode a dream sequence (and if they do, they should all get egged a lot), Sean will be rescued.

that could have been a what if episode you never know the writers will come up with something.

We just got to wait for the new season in the fall.

Obviously if they come back and Sean is dead then yes, it was what-if, but they haven't come out and said it is yet with anything they've done since, so ...

Awesome cliffhanger. Obviously Sean wont die, this is a popular money maker show and clearly theyre not going to can it by killing off one of the two main characters, but i like the way they make us think they did.

I must say the teddy lady is the most annoying character ever, if she was hot and in her 20s it wouldve been ok, but they kinda ruined it by casting an old fugly grandma for it.

What? Sharon Gless played creepy psycho just fine. Anyway, she's way better on "N/T" than she was in last summer's "Burn Notice." Talk about wandering around trying to be pointless.

This is only my prediction, but would kinda explain some things...

Ok, I mean think about this, Sean dead? Who lives through all that blood? Then again, Christian said he was going to check on that lady so he may have been there when it happened, rushed in, kick the crap outta freak twit, and saved Sean's life.

    OR

All the sudden Sean wakes up in a cold sweat in a new town and it was like the whole season never happened. Like he had a nightmare the night before they were to open for their first day in a new city. It's kinda like watching Season 5, episode 1 except Sean is experiencing de ja vu and it being all freaked out talking about "seeing all this before". MAYBE he will decide to get his family back and/or move back.

Hmmm just a theory but would help get everything sorta on track....I mean come on...Matt sleeping with his sister?? Matt has been through enough already, give him a break. Geez I would rather someone call Cherry back and he hook up with her OR shoot even bring back Ava's hot ass....WOOHOO

Anyways...I will just sit here impatiently awaiting the arrival of Season 6...

I have a better idea. At the beginning of next season, Julia gets out of bed (at home in Miami), walks over to the bathroom and Sean hops out of the shower and says "Hi Honey." He assures her that the events of the last 20 episodes were all a dream and we go back to where we left off in the middle of Season 4.

Oh, the beatings that would be in order in the wake of that scene.

well I watched the show's available seasons in the past few days. I've to say the first 2 seasons are almost flawless. S3 was a mess, S4 was a little better, but still not very good, though the last few episodes were really great. Now season 5 I really enjoyed.... but this last episode was horrible.

There's no denying in that N/T has become a prime time soap opera. Thats not a bad thing, as soap operas are not neccessery bad. But they were definitely aiming for the bad in the finale... I mean how many scenes were there JUST for the pure shock value. Silliest twists following even sillier ones.

For starters, someone getting shot in the head and still live(wake up like hours later!) is just... oh my god. Colleen constantly getting thrown out? I mean that was almost comical - I wish she was thrown out a third time. The car accident. What was the point of that?

And of course, Sean getting stabbed. Wow. Ryan Murphy must've thought the show would end with the 4th season, because quite frankly, THAT famous future suckfest episode totally spoiled everything. We know Julia will eventually remember everything, so Eden won't get away with what she's done. We know Sean lives. Etc.

Well, the bottomline is that I hated this finale. Probably just more anticlimatic than the reveal of Quentin Costa being the Carver and he paid $100 for a college girl to pretend giving him a head.

I dont think we should take the future episode so seriously, its not set in stone, you do one thing differently and it changes everything. Nip/Tuck is turning into a soap opera so it wont suprise me if they kill off characters and then they miraculously come back. Pffft I reckon Gina might even come back..

So I dont think you can definately say they wont kill off Sean cause of that 2026 episode, it could happen. Although I think that would suck.

Just caught up with Season 5. So no tension at all because we know that Sean, Julia and Annie are all alive and well in 2026. So Sean, bleed as much as you like, we know you'll be back.

The series of soap opera cliches reached an incredible level:
Sean has not one but two completely psycho women who fall in love with him and when thwarted turn to murder as revenge.

How did Colleen manage to drag the (very ripe by then) body from her apartment to Sean's? And how did she break in -- AGAIN -- don't they have locks ? Alarms? And really, why was Sean so ballistic when he found Colleen was a teddy bear seller? So she wasn't a licensed agent: regardless (and overlooking her homicidal and stalkerish habits) she seemed effective at doing the job. Just what is Eden up to anyway? A few months ago she was a schoolgirl. Does she really want to turn herself into a whore? Surely she should be on track for an Ivy League college, given her upbringing. She can screw around on the side, but doing so publicly and on film makes her future rather limited. And where was Olivia when Eden suddenly became a porn movie starlet?

I noticed a summary that "Matt sleeps with his sister" and was boggling at the idea of him and Annie having it off. After Eden apparently taught her how to give blowjobs, it was just credible, and might explain why she was such a [she-dog] in 2026. But it turned out not to be, and in fact the whole subplot of Eden's manipulation seems to have been dropped.

And the First Wives: These are sophisticated, rich women. They might choose their poolboys by penile size, but surgeons? That's just idiotic.

Sadly the show is falling apart. At least the last couple of seasons, annoying and stupid as their "transplant ring" and "Carver" plots were, had a story. This has nothing. And not a memorable surgery in the whole season.

I liked this episode, not loved but definitely liked.

That psycho Colleen needs to be put away in the mental hospital indefinitely or something. She is seriously f_cking crazy!

Matt and Emme sleeping together. Whoa. It was sad that they had to end up as half siblings. Damn you Christian! If only you can keep your dick in your pants, maybe Matt would've been Sean's son and not yours. LOL. Oh god, the drama.

    Gotta love Nip / Tuck!

I don't know anything for sure, but I heard rumors about the 5 season having each episode focused on a different character of the show
