Emmy nominations announced. Nip/Tuck got only one nomination for prosthetic make-up (Connor MacNamara's deformed hand). Were they snubbed or not?

Well in all honesty I don't think season 4 was Emmy worthy.

Season 4 was good enough to get more nominations than 1. Dylan Walsh and Julian McMahon both deserve best actors nominations and Joley Richardson did pretty good too.

What about Jacquline Bisset as James?

Actually I do agree with that. Julian has some really great scenes throughout the series that really show that he is a tremendous actor.

Bisset was the only Emmy-worthy performance of the season, imo (and it for sure wasn't gonna win for writing. Sorry, but feh). Dylan and Julian and Joely did as well as they always do, but they didn't have especially significant things to do this year.

Unless sleeping with Peter Din.klage is Emmy-worthy, which I wouldn't personally consider it to be.

Seasons 1 and 2 Outstanding Drama wise were worthy, and Julian's dealings with his 'son' Wilbur were the best he's done on the show. Love it all around, but it's no surprise Season 4 didn't garner any noms.

And am I the only one that though S4's drama with James was drawn out and boring?

Well, between her and the Carver, I'm not entirely convinced there's any kind of police force in Miami ...

Yeah, I think life would've gotten to the point faster.

That being said, she was cool as hell and I loved her. What fire!

Between her and Red and Catherine DeNueve, this show really does right by its Grand Dames.

I'll probably fall in love with the season when watching it a second time on DVD. Same thing happened with Season 3. While watching it I thought it was really lackluster, but when watching it again on DVD, I was like hot damn this is good TV. Perhaps it has something to do with now I know where it's all going, or what to expect.

this show always gets snubbed and the same shows always gets nominated...i super happy that heroes got a nod...but they most likely won't win but deserve to..

Seriously though. N/T is way too fringe to win an Emmy. Lots of messed up stuff that disturbs most peoples' sensibilities.
