God I hope not. I'd prefer them to continue acting like it never happened.

....from the perspective of the writers and everything he won't be. They seem to think he won't come back.

I hope not, that story arc is done and dusted as far as I'm concerned.

Besides, IMHO, Season 4 so far has been good enough not to warrant a return to it.

the carver mystery was so exciting and interesting...until they brought on the season finale and ever since I haven't been able to enjoy the show...it has lost all its blood for me..as hard as I have been trying this season..I can't get into it anymore...sorry to say that, don't want to ruin it for you.

You didn't ruin it for me.

It seems like you've only ruined it for yourself.

The show is bumping along just fine.

It's very clear that they have no intent to ever bring him back or even mention him or anything he did in the show ever again.

Actually when we first met Kimber this season she seemed pretty balanced she had found a new faith that did make her happy till Christian came along.

Kimber has always been flaky, flaky before the carver flaky after.

    lol!

Y'know, I do admit to a bias. I think Kimber could've studied Kabalah, the Koran or hell, become a Presbyterian and I'd question her spirituality a lot less.

Scientology just seems to come prepackaged in a shiny wrapper with a price tag the way more established wisdom traditions seem not to.

I think having her join the Scientologists is mostly a way for her to rebuild herself spiritually and still occasionally be, well, really flaky, thereby serving a larger storyline better.

I'm ... really looking forward to tonight.

I'd have to say that being flaky is one of the prerequisites for being a Scientologist. lol.

Really? I just thought it was to recreate her being as one of the villains of the show, as most people villainise (sp?) Scientology day by day anyway.

Yeah, but I'm trying not to be a bigot about it.

There are seriously flaky Christians/Muslims/Zoroastrians out there, too.

While the ending to the Carver story was absolutely dreadful, I thoroughly enjoyed Season 3 up to that point. However, bringing the Carver back would serve no purpose whatsoever and would just be a backwards step for the writers to take. Hell, they are already bringing back
*SPOILER* (if you didn't see next weeks previews)

    Escobar from season 1....

and it seems terribly out of place in a season that appears to have no direction to begin with.

Oh blah. That's a bunch of horse do-do. To me this season does have direction. And I think it's great that Escobar is coming back. I've wanted to know what happened to the wacko. I also liked season 3 and I didn't mind the Carver storyline, cause I was a criminal justice buff. This is a good season, stop dissecting the show cause really you're going to drive yourself nuts, and hate it. To me there is no such thing as a bad episode.
