Um ... I've heard nothing about this.

    It's just a writers strike.

So far as I know, it's coming back next fall sometime.

    Calm down.

If "dirt" can get picked up for another season, N/T (a show that people are actually watching) will all but certainly be coming back.

But casually proclaiming the death of the show will keep you safe?

Season 5 = 22 episodes (ordered number of epis, this is confirmed). 14 are completed and because of the strike the last 8 epis will be aired during the 2008 Fall season. And mark my words, Nip/Tuck will be renewed for a 6th season.

SinkaVonka do you have a source for what you said about the final 8 episodes?

"Okay, here's the deal once and for all.

Next Tuesday we return for an uninterrupted run of six episodes. They join the already seen eight, for a season of 14.

When the writers strike is over (if it's ever over), we will all return and shoot eight more episodes, which will either run later this year or early next year. Beyond that, I have no contract.

Hope this clears up any confusions...

    Ryan"

I belive he said the same thing in a Variety interview also, but I can't find it. So 22 episodes.
