im sorry but after much debate within myself i have to agree with the original poster of this thread though i did like fourth season maybe not as much as the first three seasons but i did like it alot this season however has just went jerry springer to a tasteless end. i dont know what the writers were thinking when they put this season together but i know what they were watching because its jerry springer all the way! i beg for this show to end at this 5th season only if they are going to continue with the poor writing they have but if they are considering to bring it back to its roots and why we luved the show in the first place then i hope the show continues with a 6th season. this is just heart breaking to say especially since i have been such a nip/tuck fan girl from the begining. i hate what theyve done to both christian and sean

Nah. There's at least one more season on deck.

I totally agree 100% people just will not admit that this show is sinking fast, they feel they need to defend it out of some misguided loyalty,I was once a big fan of nip/tuck myself but any fool can see it is now sinking totally out of it's depth all of the originality it once had is now replaced by tired and old storylines, and I really believe that it has finally had it's day.

In my opinion, Nip/Tuck died after Season 3...

I do think that the show needs to end at some point in the future - but I disagree with any who think it has 'jumped the shark' or worsened to a point where it needs to be put out of its misery. Shows change, a lot. Sometimes, they change due to network pressures (often unrealistically and awkwardly). Sometimes, they change because the guy with the artistic license decides to move in a new direction. Viewers should, like it or loath it, respect this. I think that is the basis on which some of the posters on this thread are making their points.

Just because you don't like what happens in this show, doesn't mean you need to slag it off!
