This show has some of the best and most controversial villains in television. In only four seasons, we've been introduced to a vicious drug lord, a seductive transsexual, a charismatic serial rapist, and a tragic mob boss. I think these characters are essential to the series. Without them the show would be boring.

And personally I think that Jacqueline Bisset definitely deserves an Emmy for her portrayal of James. She's probably the only Nip/Tuck character I actually felt sympathy for.

    What do you think?

I chose The Carver as my fave villian because his storyline was the inly one that did not start pissin me off close to the end of the season. With the other villias, I was constantly yelling at the tv becasue I was so mad they weren't calling the police on these people. However with The Carver storyline, I was crying by the end of the season finale hoping that Christian or Sean wouldn't be disfigured or dead. The Carver was the best.

Honestly I would have to say it was the Carver because he/she was the only villian that we actually feared and so did Sean and Christian lol. These pther rejects are people just laugh at or think of as some poor pathetic soul who have nothing to do but vitimize themselves and screw other people over....lol..a bit too much...ok i will stop.

Same here, even at some of the lower points of the whole carver story it was still really exciting.

Well, I felt like after the first season they shouldn't have brought then back though it did make for a good season finale in season 4 up until the season finale I actually wasn't happy with his return. It seemed to take away from the great ending they gave to his character in the first season finale.

    Ava was my favorite "villain."

But I have to agree The Carver was by far the best. Exciting and intriguing.

i was leaning towards Ava, but then, she actually had feelings. i think she did love Matt and maybe even (as sick as it is) her son. So I ended up chosing the carver. which is funny. both villians - biggest ones yet, are both freaks. she's a woman with leftover penis and he's a man with no penis at all... its all about sex with this show...

Ava did not have any leftover anything. She was the Hope Diamond of transsexuals. She just needed a little more ... interior renovation.

I liked The Carver the best, but not Quentin as The Carver. In my mind they're completely different people. The Carver's identity was just a blank space that could randomly be filled by any secondary character.

Ava was my favorite, but The Carver was the best in my opinion. The episode in which he actually killed someone scared me, it showed that he's actually capable of murder. I was at the edge of my seat during the season 3 finale because you knew he wasn't going to hestitate killing them.

ALL of the Villains were my favorite......i guess thats cause i just genuiley like the show. but if i had to choose.....i think it would be James or Escobar. Just cause they were after the main characters somewhat and we found out they knew eachother. go figure. lol but yea the carver was really getting kinda annoying. so yea each of them had their moments. so i liked all of them.

Carver, not only was he sadistic, but twisted enough to attach a dogma to his actions. The level of insanity was surreal, which seems to be the best part of the show. And the actions that led to their dementia, were the malevolence of society itself.

James because she was really mean, no heart. The Carver was very cruel but a mentally ill person, that's why I consider James just perfect as villain, she chose it.
