It would be one hell of an oversight for pics like that to make their way onto the FX site this early. To me it just screams false. Probably just another example of Ryan Murphy playing with the heads of the hardcore fans. If that's true, I'll be he's having a blast cruising forums like this and laughing at all of us taking the bait so perfectly.

Agreed - I do not think that something they wrapped into so much secrecy would be spoiled that easily by some last minute mistake...

I might be wrong, but I think they're just having a little fun and teasing the fans (and the Internet community) - I can picture 2 guys in charge of the web design at FX:

    - "hey look dude, I can get these guys to write 100 posts in less than 20 minutes by putting that promotional picture over there with that obscure link"
    - "awesome man, hey let's try with the picture where Julian McMahon was messing around and dressed like a drag on the set..."

guys, the picture wasn't posted on the front page or anything. it was posted on the press page which you usually need a password to get into or a direct hyperlink.
plus, the voice on myspace sounds a lot like quentin's.
and if it was a decoy, then why would they have taken it down so fast after it started getting hits.

It was up for several hours.

If it needed a password how come we could all see it?

you got in through the direct link. then it doesn't prompt you for password. but if you go to the usual FX press page then they ask you for password.

If you truly needed a password, you would not be able to access. Anything you would type in would have been developed to redirect to the sign-in entry page. No matter if you knew the url path or not. Once signed in that would clear you for that session, that is how it works. This is not built as a standard secured member access page. It is easy to access and thus I do not see it as anything more than a cheap attempt to spoof us all.

There is always a chance that it might be the real thing, but then again I think it's a decoy... Just like the Carver's identity, nobody knows for sure...

Oh well just a few more hours and we shall all know...

Kristin's clues from E-online were right on target:

    "Tookiesam"

Can someone explain to me how these clues make sense for it to be Quentin and Kit as the carvers? I don't get it...

With all due respect to the writers, there is a difference between writing suspense to push the envelope, and being totally ludicrous. They might as well had alien time travel.

At least alien time travel would've been a surprise.
