Believe it or not where I come from in Wales, they make JAPANESSE televisions, because alot of the factories are based here. So even japanesse tv's are not made in Japan lol. Apart from thatI haven't got a clue!!!!!!

I'm not from England I live in Wales.

Wales isn't part of England. It would be like calling an american person a canadian. If you check a map out, Wales is a small country all on it's own. The welsh and the English kind of don't like eachother, which is why some people get a little peed off when everyone from the UK gets called english, we are all british but not all English.
The welsh also have their own language although it is not widely spoken, sorry to all you fellow welshies, I am proud to be welsh but the language is horrid!

I traveled to England, stayed for 3 weeks several years ago. You could really feel the separation over the countries as you indicate. It is hard to find an analogy that fits what its like living there. I would equate it to football, in general people love their football but yet we all have our opposing teams we root for, so because we all like football doesn't mean its always friendly. It's sorta like that.

Thats right the thing is here the scottish, Irish and the welsh all get on pretty well but none of those get on with the English. We have rugby, the six nations and that causes a major divide. It is such a big deal! Next time you visit England you should pay a visit to Wales. It is a beautiful country.

I wasn't saying a particular person would have a problem being called a canadian or anything like that. It is just easier to explain that way. Alot of brits get americans and canadians mixed up, another example would be Australia and New Zealand. Personally I wouldn't like to be called English, THAT IS NOT because I have a problem with the English, I don't but I am Welsh and proud to be welsh so clearly I would rather be called that.

Before an English N/T fan comes on here giving me abuse, I am only stating facts, not my personal opinion. I hate forum bashing LOL!

Well it isnt just the Brits that get that mixed up. I am originally from Wisconsin and down south EVERYONE thinks my accent is Canadian. LOL -- It's close. I dont take offense to that at all.

Well the welsh and the english sound VERY different. I am from south wales and the welsh acsent is stronger here. Have any of you seen notting hill? Hugh Grants flatmate in that, Rhys Ifans is welsh. Richard Burton was welsh. Tom Jones is from Ponypridd which is about 15 minutes away from where I live.(he lives in the states now) Anthony Hopkins is welsh, obviously Catherine Zeta Jones is welsh she is from Swansea. (about a hour away) John Rhys Davies (plays the little tough guy-dwarf- in lord of the rings and he is indiana jones)is from Wales too.

    My vote hasn't changed:

    Name: AVA's, or AVA's LOUNGE.
Opens: Well, if you open it at the beginning of S4, it'll have a nice grand opening with lots of people here. If it opens before then, they won't necessarily know what it is or what to do there, since one of the first posts is to explain it, and that'll be so lost in antiquity that they'll never find it.

I'd suggest "Official Off-Topic Threads" until about a week before the premiere, and then open up the new lounge thread.

Oh, when we started the Farewell Angel Bash May 19, 2004, we'd been buzzing about it for a couple weeks beforehand. When the series finale aired, we opened the party the day of, a few hours ahead of airing. Getting a nice "Grand Opening" buzz going in whatever OT thread we're on by then will help people who are unfamiliar with the concept.
