  • My Favorite Episode

    10
The best episode in my opinion. The grandparents were rude, out of line, and downright mean. There was great drama and turmoil/conflict. Loved that the guy from twilight appeared. It was a nice addition. Great action too! This is a very family show and each week it gets better. The drama within the super heroes gig is getting more and more interesting like the interaction with family proved.

  • Very funny! The in-laws!

    10
This was a very interesting episode, as it also always seems to be quite funny in TV shows when the in-laws coem to visit, as it always adds another dynamic to the relationships.

There were some very interesting scenes throughout this episode, and I won't go through all of them, but I really loved the last scene, where the whole family is helping to repair their car using one superpower or another. I really enjoyed that!

There was also a lot of interesting stuff going on in terms of keeping thier secrest from Stephanie's parents! I loved it!

The scenes art the pool game were also quite good!

Definitely recommend this episode, as I really enjoyed it! I missed a small part of it myself, but what i saw was terrific! Great work!moreless

    • Stephanie: Mom, what are you doing?
Barbara: Wow. I was making a shopping list, but I see you're fully stocked. What happened? Did you lose your job?

    • JJ: I just want to let everyone know that your daughter tried to read the thoughts of a stray dog today.
Daphne: I thought that my powers might help him find his way home.
Jim: Aww, honey, that's so sweet.
JJ: Sweet? Okay, wait a minute. No one else is a concerned that a girl two years away from college actually thought a dog might think in English?

    • Stephanie: Look, when your mom and stepdad came to visit, I agreed not to have sex while they were in the house.
Jim: As much as I'd like to think sex is one of my superpowers, honey, I'm pretty sure this belongs in a different argument.

    • Jim: Perfect timing, George. Steph's parents showed up last night.
George: You mean Satan's branch of the AARP?
      Jim: That would be them.

    • Katie: It's an honor to meet you. After all, your womb was the gestation point for scientific greatness.
Stephanie: What a lovely, awkward compliment.

    • George: You know what? Once I get done from here, I'm gonna get me some super powers and whup Jim's ass!

    • Stephanie: I saw something tonight. A huge chasm. Two sides so far apart. Families--I mean, we start as a unit together, united. And over time, life happens, people change, and pretty soon, you're so far apart you can't even see the person you're sitting next to at dinner. That's what happened to me and my parents. That table might as well have been the Grand Canyon. But they don't really know who we are. But... part of that's because we haven't let them. There are a lot of things I can run away from, Jim, but I can't... run away from who we are.
Jim: So what do we do?
Stephanie: Maybe it's time to stop running.
