It seems the dragon knights finally have in their grasp what they were looking for; the dragon torque. Though a mask named Noein interferes, and allows Haruka to escape. Back in her normal life, Isami has been constantly visiting Haruka to somehow help Yuu before he goes insane. Miho reports this to Ai, who seemed to have a secret crush on Isami. She gets jealous, and her and Haruka get in a fight. Haruka gets a vision from the future with Ai suffering alone. Haruka intervenes within these events later on, and suffers with her, molding the relationship back together.
Noein is really so far, a great anime with a unique and brilliant start. It starts off like most animes; complicated and hard to understand, but half of it up to now, is all real life drama stuff. Though the two intertwine in a way that push each other into greater heights. The whole thing with Ai and Haruka fighting and arguing with each other, and it developing, was played out brilliantly. It was all entirely realistic--aside from the part where Haruka sees into the future--and it was just a thing of beauty. The story is being told in bits again, but the "making you wonder" isn't detracting away from the experience that causes most animes to have sluggish starts. Great episode overall.
