Shelly: It smells like real leather almost!

Holling: Don't you see the sands of time dribbling through the hourglass?

Holling: (a customer leaves because he turned off the game) Anyone else feels likewise, don't let the door hit you in the back on the way out.

Holling: Sports just bore me numb. Especially baseball. That game is slow as sap.

Holling: The child hasn't taken his first breath yet and he already has two of 'most everything!

Joel: (inordinately upset) Suddenly Nadine Fleischman has turned into John J. Audubon. This from the woman who thinks pigeons are flying rats. Marilyn: I get it. You had a fight with your father.

Joel: Jewish women from Queens don't fly!
