Notes & Queries is a talk show that originally aired on BBC Two from January 14, 1993 to December 12, 1993. The episodes are 30 minutes in length with two episodes in the first season and seven episodes in the second season. Co-directed by Arch Dyson and Charles Garland, the show is produced by Philippe Bassett. The writers are Clive Anderson and Carol Vorderman, who are also the hosts. Anderson and Vorderman take quirky questions from members of the studio audience or the public and attempt to answer them, usually with a comedic twist. Anderson is a popular television presenter for BBC, and is also an experienced comedy writer and stand-up comedian. He is known for taking repeated jabs at his guests, prompting some of them to walk off the show. Vorderman is a BBC broadcaster best known as the co-host for Countdown, a popular game show. She also researches and produces many shows for BBC.
