After the Storm / Home Sweet Home / Feeling the Heat
Hurricane Katrina turned the once active community, with a population of over 68,000, into a devastated ghost town. Over 3,000 residents were forced from their homes after over a million gallons of oil engulfed their neighborhood. Now travels to the center of the tragedy located at Louisiana's St. Bernard Parish. NOW then investigates the government's role in Eminent Domain, which allows private property to be confiscated from American citizens, and what can be done to protect your land. Lastly, NOW investigates global warming, by reviewing the evidence provided by top scientists, and linking it to human activity as the main cause.moreless
