Episode Summary

Downward Mobility
There's a war brewing up between Tyson Foods, a meat-processing corporation, and union workers in Jefferson, Wisconsin. The wage war relates to the corporation's attempts to cut workers' benefits and wages. This could lead to poverty in this small US town, bringing down its middle-class. NOW examines the emotional and combative labor strike. Featuring: NOW's Bill Moyers, Joseph C. Hough, NOW's David Brancaccio and NPR's Sarah Chayes.moreless
