Not so much a goof of the episode, but of the DVD the episode is on. The title of this episode is "Stay Tuned", however, on the main menu of the DVD, where it lists the 3 episodes that are on the DVD, it has the title of this episode as "Staying Tuned". Then, if you select "Staying Tuned" and it goes to that show's sub menu, it has the title correct as "Stay Tuned".
GOOF -- in this episode's one glimpse of Tom's negatives, they are color film instead of the correct black & white.
The love interest of Gus, played by Dean Stockwell, is named Tina. Stockwell portrayed Al in Quantum Leap and his girlfriend throughout much of the series was also named Tina.
The V.R. goggles in Pam Peters's house are clearly not plugged into anything.
Technical inaccuracy: Scott finds information on a "government computer at MIT," with the URL sarte.mit.gov. Even if a goverment computer was located there, MIT, not being an agency of the United States government, cannot have a .gov top-level domain.
In the scene where Thomas is struggling with Simmons in his limo, you can see a man face reflected on the inside of the door window. Most likely a camera man who accidentally was reflected off of it.
Goof: When Tom takes Dr. Bellamy to his studio, and walks over to the wall where "Hidden Agenda" is supposed to be hanging, part of the boom mic, very briefly, drops into the shot.
