AIRED:
Attempting to avert his unknown attackers, Veil uses Dr. Bellamy's driver's license and credit cards as he sets out on a desperate search for answers to who has stripped away his entire life. Before long, he's presumed to be the missing Bellamy, tracked down and taken to the enemy's headquarters for Western Operations. There, "Dr. Bellamy" is instructed to make one of their subjects, Ellen Combs, comply with the same "conditioning" procedure he administered to Tom Veil.moreless

  • Veil uses the identity of the dead, corrupt psychologist to uncover more clues about the organization.

This episode displays Will's intellect and intelligence.

Here he manages to take over the identify of Dr. Bellamy. After which, Veil is able to uncover more of Bellamy's background with organization.

Veil also uncovers another victim in Ellem Combs. However, Combs may or may be an operative for organization.

Veil must be alert to any double cross and able to react immediately to save his life.

A solid episode. This episode also shows part of the obstacles in Veil's mission to uncover in that the organization has many operatives posing as either victims or normal people who are trying to trick Tom into delivering the negatives that would destroy them.

Again Bruce Greenwood carries this episode great. He is an outstanding, underrated actor.moreless
  • A near perfect second episode.

    8.0
A great episode to follow the pilot although the ending can be easily guessed and the plot is borrowed.

The episode is very similar to the second episode of The Prisoner entitled The Chimes of Big Ben.

If you can get past the idea of plagarism, or you've never seen The Prisoner, this is a great second episode and shows what Veil is up against.

    • Thomas: (Opening narration) My name is Thomas Veil, or at least it was. I'm a photographer. I had it all: a wife, friends, a career. And in one moment it was all taken away, all because of a single photograph. I have it. They want it. And they will do anything to get the negative. I'm keeping this diary as proof that these events are real. I know they are... they have to be.
