Adult Swim has a hit with Childrens' Hospital, so they must have figured that one parody show would not be good enough. Enter NTSF: SD: SVU, a title that they did not even explain in the episode.
There were a few moments that got a chuckle out of me, but frankly this parody does not flow as smoothly as the network's hospital one does. Maybe it is harder to mock all the CBS and USA shows than it is medical ones?
I'm not writing the show off yet, but this pilot was not very good. Paul Scheer needs to try harder with his character, and the material needs to be stronger for everyone involved.moreless
