Don's official title is Supervisor of the FBI's Violent Crimes Squad.
Agent Colby Granger broke his leg when he was 10-years-old. Watching Gary Cooper in the movie High Noon all that summer was a major influence in his later decision to join the FBI.
8 DEAD BODIES
2 DAYS AFTER THE MURDERS
During the end scene between Don and Robin, when Don is sitting in his chair and Robin walks in with her suitcases, there is a coffee cup sitting on the arm of his chair. However, when Don is seen again a few seconds later, the cup is gone.
McGowan: You and your brother have the same way of looking at things, you know that?
Don: (laughs) I haven't heard that but... I'll take it!
Don: (To Nikki) This is the FBI. We police the police.
(Nikki walks in, carrying boxes of evidence from the LAPD)
David: How'd you get it so quickly?
Nikki: I used to date a guy. Turns out now he dates a guy...
Nikki: In LAPD, you kill a cop--that's a priority.
David: In the FBI, you kill 8 people--they're all a priority.
Don: (Looking at a dead body at crime scene) What about this guy here?
Nikki: No money, no I.D., no idea.
Alan: (About Charlie) Clearance or no clearance, he still knows how to make an exit!
Don: Any kind of motive?
Colby: Boys in blue are saying robbery.
Nikki: If this was a robbery, it's the dumbest crew I've ever seen. What kind of robbers leave five hundred dollars behind?
Don: Charlie Epps is a vital part of the FBI and as supervisor of the Los Angeles Violent Crimes squad, it is my belief that I cannot perform my duties without him.
McGowan: You realize what you're saying.
Don: Yeah - Charlie's back or I'm not.
Alan: So, what up?
Charlie: Oh, just exactly what I was afraid of. In order to get my clearance back I would have to give up Don.
Alan: And what did you say?
Charlie: I could always get another job. I only have one brother.

Jonathan Schmidt: He's got BrAngelina on speed dial.
This is an example of a "hybrid" term that the media invents for a celebrity couple. This one refers to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Charlie: Crito, we owe a rooster to Asclepius. Please do not forget to pay the debt.
According to Plato, these were Socrates' last words before he died. Larry had made a reference earlier in this episode to Socrates and his decision to accept execution, rather than compromise his ideals. Charlie's use of the phrase here shows his decision to accept the risk of never having his security clearance again, rather than sacrifice his relationship with his brother.
