  • Bit Unusual, but I enjoyed it.

We have a rapper' murder that has nothing to do with gangs. We also have Amita a bundle of nerves with her parents' arrival. I initially thought stealing lyrics or in this case raps. Megan is MIA, taking a week off with only notifying the bosses, but not her teammates. Charlie's insecurities are showing about Amita's parents liking him. There's a math genius working an algorithm for music lyrics. Hunter seemingly changed his stripes from when he first broke into the business alienating a lot of people. Charlie working with the rap songs was great. The only thing better was Larry and the rappers. Again another c l a s s I c motive of greed. Derek wanting revenge for his friends Hunter went about it the right way, getting everything on tape. As it turns out Charlie's insecurities are not unfounded. However, Amita's heart is true despite her parents' desires for their daughter. But ultimately they warm up to the Ebbs charm. New couple in the mist, Liz & Colby, have they learned nothing yet?moreless

  • TRIVIA (5)

  • QUOTES (7)

    • Charlie: There was a minimal probability that we'd be late, I don't know how...
Alan: Charlie, there is nothing you can do about it now, so just breathe and relax. The last thing you want to do is show up late and sweaty.

    • Larry: Her parents were both schooled here, they raised her here, I'm sure they're very intelligent, cosmopolitan people.
Charlie: They tried to arrange a marriage for her.
Larry: Yeah, that had slipped my mind.

    • Larry: I haven't heard of any of these artists, and it's not like I've been living in a cave.
Charlie: No, just a space station and a monastery...and oh yeah!...the steam tunnels.
      Larry: Point taken.

    • Amita: I didn't say it was rational, it just feels weird.
Charlie: My Dad knows you spend the night, that's never been weird.
Alan: Well, it's weird now, thank you very much.

    • (Amita walks her parents to their car; Alan and Charlie discuss their visit)
Charlie: So, what do you think?
      Alan: Hmmm?
      Charlie: I'm in!
      Alan: Oh, yeah, you're in!
      Charlie: Yeah!
Alan: But you must realize of course that now you have to marry her.
(Charlie's smile instantly changes to shocked silence)
Charlie: I think I'll have one of those cookies now.

    • Charlie: (to Don) Remember when we were kids and we used to sit in the cheap seats at Dodger Stadium under the Jumbotron?
Alan: It wasn't because the seats were cheap. It was the best place to catch a homerun ball.
      Don: (sarcastically) Oh, yeah.
Alan: No, we had gloves with us. (they all laugh)

    • Charlie: Hey Larry. How was the departmental breakfast?
Larry: It was less then stellar. I was running late and the only available seat was next to Professor Heinslose.
      Charlie: The slurper.
Larry: You know all he had was the fruit plate and he was deafening.
