I caught the last 2 season when TNT played 2 hours back to back monday-friday. I was upset when they pulled it, but luckily I took advantage of my DVR and found it at night. They were playing 4 a night but now it's up to 6, and I've watched every single episode from season 1 on to 7 which is playing right now. I work 3rd shift so when I get home at 6 am I have a NYPD overdose. Thank God for DVR because episodes are only 42 minutes without commercials. Good to hear others enjoy it too.

I love this show and am so thankful TNT is airing it even if it is the middle of the night.  I fall asleep watching then let my DVR take over.

I tape it on DVR every Tuesday night too, except that it's not on for 6 hours anymore; only 4.  Sux, doesn't it?  But what's been neat about it is that they've all been in order, as opposed to when it was only on for two hours in the afternoon a couple of years ago.

I haven't been able to get my NYPD blue fix for quite awhile since they moved it to the middle of the night. Thank goodness for my Time Shift Machine (aka VCR).

You know what I'd really like to see? Hill Street Blues. Dennis Franz pre Sipowicz and David Caruso pre Horatio Caine. That was the one show we NEVER missed and looked forward to the reruns.

I've purchased all the DVDs so far and was really disappointed to learn the season 5 release has been postponed indefinitely. It would be great to see these episodes again. Is anyone out there willing and able to cap and share these episodes online?

There is a group takling about this here:

I watch, and set the VCR if I have to run out on a job.

I just got a tv tuner card for my PC, will be easier to store on hard drive than shuffle tapes

Looked like TNT was gonna pull the series, calling it "filler programming".. In fact, they cut it down to 2 shows a week then they even skipped alternate weeks last month -- So, just FYI in case anyone missed this~

Now they're going to be showing 4 episodes a week - 2 hours from 3-5am(et) on tues morning and 2 hours, 3-5am wed mornings starting April 1.

YAY. I was really afraid they were going to stop running it for months, again like they did in 2004 (thereabouts).

    Hey There,

When I checked my DVR guide, it showed that there weren't ANY episodes playing this week or next, please correct me if I'm wrong... I am very bummed out about this since I am trying to see the rest of the series in order which after Season 4 is NOT available on DVD. Last I saw we were still in Season 6, but didn't see them playing recently. TNT site says that the next airdate of NYPD BLUE isn't until MAY 21st at 3AM...which I am very upset about.

...let's just hope that they know enough to pick up where they left off. Did anyone else notice that they omitted an entire episode when it had focused on Simone and his hospital stay...?

ANy other info on the pick up of the series would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks!
