In Australia we were a season or 2 behind USA broadcast and have only just now March 2007, watched the final episode.
Channel 10 had NYPD on prime broadcast times for over 10 years then suddenly dropped the barrel completely by broadcasting the show at 12:30pm Sat. night, thereby crucifying it for fans of the show and then not even playing out the finale show by Jimmy. Sad but true... Channel 10 please televise this for the many fans of this brilliant show, and thanks very much to the producers, directors, staff and of course a great cast for NYPD over the years.moreless
