If you are talking about in the U.S., I don't know. All I know is that some countries have the DVD already.

Same here. There's already a soundtrack that has been sold in some countries.

For the record, Disney is not very ecstatic about selling DVDs. If sales go up for DVDs of their other shows, then they might think about it. However, JETIX is the least priority of Disney, as we saw with ABC Family, so I doubt that we'll see any original JETIX show on DVD in the near future.

Interestingly enough, Shout! Factory is handling it.

I'll be honest with you. What concerns me is whether or not "A Chance to Shine" will be included...and not as a bonus feature either (like Viz did with their Prince of Tennis DVD*), I mean as the actual opening sequence. I honestly don't know if I'll get this DVD otherwise.

(The Prince of Tennis DVD sets include the original Japanese track, but it still uses the American created opening. The first set features the original opening and ending sequences as a bonus feature. I hope all parties involved don't decide on this for Oban).

The thing I really hope is that it will have English, French, and Japanese language tracks.

Is this for North America? I know there will be a European release.

Shout! Factory is working on 2 DVD sets containing the entire series. Here's what I know about it.

-It will be released in the US.

    -UNCUT.

-It will use the dub that was used in the American release. Wether or not other languages with subtitles will be included is not known at this time.

-While I don't know if they're gonna keep it this way for the official release, the preview episode containted on the Medabots season 1 DVD did use the original theme song Chance to Shine, not the dub song Never Say Never.
