There has been some talk of it coming out on DVD. I will post if I hear anything more definite :-)

It is only available in Australia, but it is a multiregion DVD - trust me, I have it, and it works on my Region 2 DVD player.

I would suggest ordering it from HMV Australia.

The season 1 set I got is Region 4, but I picked up a good multi-region
player for the same cost ($179 US) as a single region player. (If you
don't have one, just do an on-line search for "region free DVD player"
and you'll find plenty. The model I got, and can recommend: JVC
XV-N510B, is currently lists New on eBay at a Buy It Now price of $165.99 US).

It was nifty seeing David (a bit older) and Marzena (quite a bit heavier) in
the intro to the season 1 set, but really a shame that they didn't at least do
an interview or have them reminisce about the show. The transfer, though, is terrific: light years better than the best quality recorded episodes I've seen.

    Cheers!

    Chris ~

GREAT NEWS! Ocean Girl - season 2 is set for a September/October release! It's being released by Umbrella Entertainment through Shock (Australia). A number of Australian DVD sellers will have it, but you can order directly from Shock.com when the release date is closer.

All in all, it's a good year for OG fans.

    Cheers!

    Chris ~

Have you heard the commentaries for episode 1 and 13? They basically reminisce about filming Ocean Girl throughout both commentaries!

    Hi!
I've contacted Umbrella entertainment regarding release dates on the series. This is the reply I got:

    Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. We plan to release Ocean Girl S2 in March 2007.
We also have Ocean Girl S3 & 4 scheduled but do not have a release date as yet.

    So there you go.

    Excellent! Thanks for posting that

We have a fair wait then, but at least they're on their way - series 3+4 and all!

Season 1 came out late last year in Australia.
Season 2 I have heard is supposed to come out on March 2 but have not seen it listed anywhere.
Good outlet for Australian DVD's (Region 4): http://www.fbo.com.au/
    also Chaos.com.au

Well, second series is also region-free, for those who want to know .

Bit of a shame, though - menus are nowhere near as good as for the first series DVDs, and there are no special features, unlike the first series DVDs.

    Still, at least it's here!

I've got the DVD's and I'm so thrilled to see Ocean Girl again after all these years. It's one of my favorite shows ever. However, I'm so impatient for Seasons 3 and 4. I've never seen season 4 and only saw most of season 3 once. Any info on when they'll be out on DVD? Who could I ask to find out?
