      • (Neil asking Kurt for advice)
Kurt: Let's see, would I sleep with my sexy, slightly underage girlfriend? ... Don't rush me. It's a tough one.
Neil: Yeah, I know, but she's still 17.
        Kurt
        : Well, so are you.
        Neil
: No, on the outside I'm 17. I'm still 22, man. I'm a ****ing astronaut, for Christ's sake. I just don't know if it's the right thing to do, you know?
Kurt: Oh, let me ask you this: The first time around, did you do it?
Neil: Yes, but it took another 3 months to convince her... and the only reason she wants to do it now is cause she thinks I'm centered.
Kurt: Look at it from her perspective. How many 17-year-olds is she gonna find with your experience? (pause) I assume there's experience here.
Neil: Oh, **** off, man, yeah.

      • Chuck: Hang on a second.
(Chuck reaches over and pulls a revolver out of the glove box)
Kurt: What the **** is that thing?
Chuck: This is a Model 1871 legally-registered Colt .45 single action six-shot revolver my granddad bought from Fort Worth when he went raiding with Pancho Villa in Mexico in the United States Army. Unlike those pussy 9 mil guns you see on TV, this .45 will knock a man down.
Kurt: I feel better already... Butch.

      • Chuck: Kurt, we are trying to prevent the world from exploding - try to get some perspective.
Kurt: I have perspective, it's just centered around me.

      • (At Naran Chandra's home)
Chuck: Mail goes back a couple weeks. It means he's either not home, or he doesn't read it, but I find that hard to believe, otherwise why would he subscribe to this? (holds up a copy of Playboy) Little tame for you?
Kurt: Science is such a lonely pursuit.

      • Waitress: (refilling Chuck's coffee cup) How come you guys always quiet down when I come over?
Kurt: Because beauty is best contemplated in silence, darling.
Angela: (after the waitress has left) Smooth, Kurt, nice.
        Kurt: Thank you.

      • Holly: You haven't called me for two days.
Neil: Give me another two days, I'll think of a reason.
Holly: You know, you'd better watch yourself. Girlfriends like me come along once in a lifetime.
Neil: Don't I know it. This, I could get used to.

      • Neil: High school. I'll never get used to this.

      • Bodanis: This isn't 'your' laptop, is it?
        Neil: Ooh... you are good.
