Heartland Wines Vineyard
Heartland Wines was created by a group of well-known growers and winemakers. After selling fruit from their premium vineyards for several years, it became apparent that their fruit offered something special, so they decided to take control and launched the Heartland brand. The Heartland wines come from an area that contains many great wineries. They span from the famous Barrosa Valley through to the Limestone coast, which made the name Heartland Wines an appropriate choice. What’s impressive about the Heartland label, is that although the fruit is sourced from several areas in South Australia, each release manages to stay vineyard specific. The winery focuses on delivering premium quality wines at affordable prices by putting a limit on the volume it produces. Already, more than eight out of ten bottles are sold overseas, in countries including Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and Poland. Winemaker Ben Glaetzer is recognized as one of Australia’s top winemakers and has acted as a wine consultant throughout this country, France and the Middle East. The image of a single spade toiling the earth symbolizes Heartland's dedication to best practice and respect for the land. The Heartland range includes two premium wines and a limited release super premium wine appropriately named Directors’ Cut. This flagship wine is produced only from fruit deemed to be the very best of a particular vintage.moreless
