When college student Keiichi Morisato dials the wrong number while ordering for some food at his dormitory, he accidentally gets connected to the Goddess Hotline and a beautiful goddess named Belldandy appears out of a mirror in front of him. Belldandy grants him a wish, and Keiichi decides that what he really needs is a girlfriend just like her. And that's exactly what he gets. After getting kicked out of the dorm, Keiichi and Belldandy move to an old shrine and soon afterwards, Belldandy's sisters Urd and Skuld move in.moreless

  • This is one of the weirdest Japanese Animes I've ever seen. It involves a college student who falls in love with a beautiful goddess.

    This 5-episode Anime tells the story about college student, Keiichi Morisato, who dials the Goddess Hotline by accident while ordering takeout. When Keiichi sees just how beautiful Belldandy looks, he makes a wish for her to be his girlfriend. Together, Keiichi and Belldandy have many adventures. Along the series, you get to meet her two sisters who are also goddesses, Urd and Skuld. But like in real life, Keiichi figures out that he and Bellldandy have to be separated at one point or another.

    The reason I thought the show was weird is because I have never seen such a show from Japan where someone falls in love with someone from the Heavens. I do like the theme song though. It's kinda catchy. Still, this show is entertaining. Recommended age: 12 and up.

    Now that I've got a chance to watch this version of the adventures of Keiichi, Belldandy, Urd, and Skuld, I hope to enjoy the 21st century version of these characters.moreless

    I like these show because it's truthfully fabulous and interesting. A show which only show there is few luck awaits when u encountering something bad luck. These show cycle to a college student Keiichi Morisato when he dials the wrong number while ordering for some food at his dormitory, he accidentally gets connected to the Goddess Hotline and a beatiful named Belldandy appears out of a mirror in front of him. What i keeping asking is in many wishes to thinking in why Keiichi has choose to have a girlfriend which is a goddess? It makes so exciting for upcoming episode and fabulous because we shall know how they love each other despite of all hindrances for them.moreless

    ive never seen the show but i have read the books, and from what ive read it seems like a really good book/show and if i ever got the chance to watch the show i would tio see what it was like. i would recommend this show / book to anyone who likes to just sit down and read, but i cant say anything about the show because i have never watched it.moreless

    I reacently got a DVD of oh my godess and after watching it I loved it. I like how the series is just typical japanese settings and lovely art cels used for the characters. The plots in the episodes I've seen are very intersting, I could sit and watch it as long as I could but I only have 4 episodes of it on DVD. I wish it would come on skyTV but then again I might concider getting another few DVD's of Oh my godess. If you like Manga and interesting plots you might like this, but its for people over 12 years old, but what the hey check it out if you wish, if unfit bloody parents are willing to let kids watching little britain then this is not better.moreless
