Show Summary

This summer series was one of TV's earliest country music programs. Bill Bailey hosted this filmed Dumont network progam from Chicago and sang a few songs himself. Regular performers included Tennessee Ernie Ford, The Candy Mountain Girls, The Chordmen and Pee Wee King.
Other country performers who made an appearance on the series included: Merle Travis, Kenny Roberts. Johnny Bond and Homer and Jethro.
In 1959, episodes of Old American Barn Dance, Eddie Arnold Time and Town and Country Time were edited together and distributed in syndication as Your Musical Jamboree.
