This is an endearing animated movie about a dog bent on helping Santa to save Christmas when Blitzen is unable to fly. This Christmas movie stars the beautiful and talented Drew Barrymore as the voice of Olive the dog who wants to be a reindeer and Dan Castellaneta (you know him from "The Simpsons" as Homer Simpson and other characters) as the voice of the evil Postman who wants to ruin Christmas. I love this Christmas Movie. I remember being introduced to this movie when we watched it in class about when I was in 4th grade and I've loved it ever since. What gets me angry about Cartoon Network is how they air the other Christmas specials a bunch of times but they only this movie like twice or three times and that's it. I prefer to watch this movie then "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" (which isn't a bad Christmas special but it's far from being my favorite). Anyways, I love the animation, I love the storyline to this whole movie, and I love the voice acting. I don't think I'll ever get tired of watching this movie because I have loved it since 4th grade. You must watch this Christmas movie if you haven't seen it yet... it was just wonderful. The movie also has a lot of hilarious parts that crack me up. Overall, a hilarious, wonderful, and very cute Christmas movie starring Drew Barrymore and Dan Castellaneta. 10/10moreless

True Christmas Classic

One of my absolute favourite holiday specials to watch on christmas day or before christmas day. Although the character designs may look simple, but it has that memorable feeling i had when watching it back when i was a kid with my brothers. The show has a flash animation and cgi mix, but you won't even recognize it. The plot revolves Olive's cheer of the holidays, but when returning home she gets yelled at her owner for being different than other dogs, but he's just really upset for Santa closing up his tradition this year due to one of the reindeers not being able to fly. Olive ends up going to the north pole to be the replacement of Santa's reindeer Blitzen, she meets some friends along the way, a penguin named Martini and Schnitzel the reindeer. Also Olive has a villian, a evil mailman douche who wants to ruin christmas because of many christmas letters he must deliver and retrieve. Although she misunderstood the radio with olive the other reindeer than all of the other reindeer. The show to me has a charm other than those other god awful christmas specials: Billy and Mandy saves christmas, Grandma gets ran overed by a reindeer, and legend Frosty the Snowman which are reused many times. Remember on christmas they use to show the best christmas specials on TV? The rugrats, do you remember that show? Now heres my final overall, the show gets a fresh 9 rating. The dvd is now available to buy at Wal Mart for only $5.00, just hate those damn stickers, they tear some of the cover off.moreless
