ABC News on Campus is a two part initiative between the ABC news network and top journalism schools across the country. This partnership allows the nation's most gifted and aspiring journalism students an opportunity to write and report on news happenings in their local area. On the list of schools participating in the program are Harvard, and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, where ABC News on Campus is headquartered. However, the University of Nebraska is not the only school with a new bureau. Each participating campus has a bureau complete with student journalists, student news anchors, and camera equipment. Students are elected to participate by professors and by ABC staff. The benefits of the show are mutual: Students are allowed an opportunity to advance in their careers as journalists, and ABC is able to broaden its scope by establishing news centers across each participating campus. Support your fellow scholars and watch ABC News on Campus!
