What about the results, will it be judge decision only?

I wondered this also. This is what they have on their site:

"15 Contestants are left On The Lot. Who will make the cut and who will end up on the Cutting Room Floor? Tuesday's one-hour Episode of On The Lot will be premiering five of the remaining contestants 3-minute shorts. The judges will weigh in with their thoughts and feedback on the films that the finalists created and then you will decide! Your vote determines who will go and who will stay. The "Box Office" results will be announced in next weeks episode."

It kinds of messes up the idea of voting.  I don't see why Fox can't give us an hour on Monday and a half hour Tuesday for results.   Or even Wednesday for results.   I mean, geez, they replaced it on Monday with a rerun of House!

I don't understand what's wrong with Fox and the programming of this show.   It seems so simple if they just followed the American Idol plan.    Why couldn't they just do that?

The problem is that on Idol, they can have the performers sing on the results show toi kill a half hour - the directors really don't do anything on the show other than stand there whle their film is shown. They have nothing for them to do on the followup night.

The results show was excruciating - just awful! Idol works because they have entertainment to fill an hour - but all they did was chat up these terribly dull people - and for a show that was supposed to devote itself to originality and creativity to pattern itself so exactly after Idol was dimwitted - it's apples and oranges - why couldn't they see why it wouldn't work?

If they showed more about how the movies are made, with tension and conflict included, then this show would be much better.

I agree. All we see is the films!

Ditto. If I want to see films and vote, then that is what Internet is for. I want to see the behind the scenes of making films!!

Yes, it has improved. It's not "bad" anymore - but still just a little boring.

Films are getting better, but I would still like to see the behind the scenes and stuff.

More about the making would be good. At least we don't have to put up with the boring results show.
