Once and Again

Lily: He taught me which berries and leaves to eat if I ever got lost in the forest.

Grace: He's okay. Aaron: Are you? The snow boy. I should have told you! Snow's a meltable element. See, you can't keep things that are made of snow.

Aaron: Are you in love? Grace: How could I know that?

Aaron: So, what's it like? Grace: Love, you mean? Aaron: Hmm mmm. Thank you. Grace: Snow. Aaron: Snow. Grace: You know how there's mornings, you wake up, and the night before you knew snow might be coming, but you'd forgotten. Then you go to the window and it's everywhere, and you're surprised, but not really. Aaron: So, is there snow? Grace: All around.

Lily: Oh my God. Brian Garvin. Grace: What happened to him? Lily: He changed... into gay. I mean, he is gay. Grace: So you made him gay? Lily: No! Grace: Are you sure?

Grace: There's this guy, Spencer, and we had this astonishing experience. And when a thing like that happens and you've been through it together you see everything differently. The world is like two teams, you know, those who were there and those who weren't. Do you know what I mean? Aaron: That's my life.

Grace: (to Aaron) You know what? You clean up nice.

Judy: Aunt Marian... she was always centering things. I remember once she physically moved me to the center of the couch.

Aaron: We have Star Wars napkins at my group home. Every meal. It must be why they call us space cadets. Grace: Ha! Oh, God... I'm so sorry. Aaron: It's okay, you can laugh. But I can't. The state'll cut off my funding.
