When it comes ot girlfriends I need a balance of both physical and mental attraction, having just one of these factors alone isn't enough for me; somebody I can easily talk to like a best friend but at the same time epresses my strong feelings to her. Those are parts of my idea of romance, I've always felt Judy's weakness was she's never really had or thought about her idea of what kind of romance she would want, which may'be part of why she's been alone most of her life.

This is another episode focused on Judy and I thought it was a good episode which gave us an insight to her character but of course also a bit on Eli.

Paul we see is a good guy, seems to just about meet her requirements but for some reason there is just no pasion brewing. Paul to me seems like one of those types you can be friends with but you can't really go all the way with, Judy we see does go all the way with him which was a big mistake, theres always something about that that brings an uncomfortable feeling.

Judys attraction toward Will is one of those typical physical attractions. Will we see isn't much for conversations and from what I heard isn't the intelectual type which is why he doesn't offer much except in the actions he takes with her, which he does and I'll admit does well.

I like those conversations with Lily which bring up the contrasting parallel beween the two. I liked it when Lily busts the both of them for sexual activity on her bed which I though was funny, but after that Judy brings up the fact that Lily and Rick had sex in her apartment. But then Lily states that was different because they both knew what they wanted out of the romance. Lily is right which is why the sex between both Rick and Lily is out of love, but Judy and Will did wasn't love it was lust. Paul wasn't entirely wrong about that last comment after Judy and him broke up which was just to deliberately hurt her after they broke up, Judy isn't that nice. But thats because she' not entirely fair to herself. She doesn't have these ideals on romance but sadly shes either forgotten them or they haven't been met. It could also be she has this bad habbit as Lily stated of moving too fast with significant others, it's no wonder Judy can't find the one because she jumps from rock to rock; how can they give her what she wants if she keeps doing that.

The subplot with Eli and Carla is good, I like how both Eli and we discover what is missing in the relaionship and that is true romance. Carla we see doesn't seem as though she's really in the relationship that much, she's detached somehow. Eli's ideals of romance are uncanily similar toward mine, he's getting a lot of the physical part but not enough of the mental. In once scene Grace brings out information about Carla that Eli has never known, so that tells you their not that close.
The next scene between the two was great when Carla comes in but then Eli and her have a conversation which turns to a fight, and then we see the reason why Carla is distancing herself because she really doesn't have people in her life which has crated a defensive complex. Then Eli does what any good significant other should do when Carla is about to leave, Eli stops her from going by huging her and not letting go she then slowly hugs back and cries on his sholder, this was a way to tell her that somebody does want her.

The ending was a bit sad because we see Judy have that sad look on her face as she sees Lily spend time with her kids at the kichen realizing the romance she seek may'be further away.moreless
