This episode was good I just didn't really find it all that exciting that all. What I like was it did deal with a common issue we all have which is in moving in. I always thought one of the things that make moving both scary and difficult is in lack of familarity with one's surroundings. When I moved to a new house, and looked at a place that was going to be my room it felt strange to me and I couldn't help but wonder if that area would ever feel like my old room. I think this episode does a fairly good job at displaying that reality.

Both characters we see are going though the motions at the move. Rick is dealing with it by making suggestions of moving things around and adding some things of his. Lily we see randomly accepts certain suggestions but hesitant about others. One of the funny moments was when everyone was at the dinner table together each one had a black and white interview clip on each of their feelings on the matter. All of their feelings about the move are understandable, moving stuff around to fit the other is like trying to move plants in a nurcery to new areas to make way for others, but it really difficult because those plants need those areas because of the amount of sunlight required. Another moment I thought was slightly funny was when both of them annouce news of their engagement to their kids and both sets of kids have causual passive reactions. That I can understand, I'm not a person that acts enthuszed all the time rarely I do, when I'm handed news of something it's a feeling like thats interesting but what do you do with it. Both Lily and Rick though are simply scared because they have to deal with changes. Lily the fact there will be new things in her house in certain places or for Rick not having areas of his own. Both want simply a sense of home aned familiarity. I really liked that subplot with both Tiffiny and Jake which I felt was the stongest part of the episode. Both of them are scared of the changes the upcoming baby is producing. Tiffiny we see is accepting the changes but wonders where Jake stands; we see Jake meditating for a while whether he can or wants to be a father again. I felt like Jake's fatal weekness has always been he can never own up to anything, if things get complicated in some way he would retreat; don't get me wrong Jake is a good guy but a little irresponsible. This unfortunately leads him to make a bad decision in the end. I felt bad for Tiffiny at that moment that look she had for Jake was the same as mine disapointment, not just in the choice he made but him as well. Honestly how long does he plan to play the singles game, he's still handsome yes but he's not that young anymore it's already down to the final innings. The only flaw to the episode was the family meeting at the end was a bit cheesy but all the kids did have a better bonding though it so I don't have much to complain about. So, overall yeah good episode not a great one.moreless
