  • Green can never be Queen

Better. Everything is better as long as I never have to look at Neverland again. Hoping the remainder of Season 3 picks up on the utterly dismal first half, and so far its off to a good start

This is a really interesting season so far because we not just had one adventure but two which is cool because it really give the season a sense of variety. I knew that it was all too good to be true for Emma and the rest, the poor guys just can never seem to catch a break, nor do "The Avengers" and "Justice Legue" thus is the careers of the hero/superheroes.

It's more of a standard setter for what's coming up but still it kept me intrigued and interested. One of the highlights was seeing the shift in dynamic between both Snow and Regina, it was almost a BFF dynamic (I said almost). I did like that one moment when Regina was at first making another wrong choice by taking her heart out and burying it as a way for her not to deal with the pain of having Henry out of her life. But of course Snow confronts her and then stears her the right direction, telling her to find a new way. I just thought it was kinda of touching but also when Regina puts her heart back in, it shows she really has learned her leason and that deep down she hasn't given up hope.

It was funny when we see both Regina and Robin encounter each other for the first time, the fact that Robin Hood is her true love that's complicated but interesting at the same time. And it's not unusal, there's Batman and Catwoman and Red Arrow and Cheshure those couples were at different sides of the fence, so I personally wouldn't mind a hook up, it would be interesting seeing a batter between them. I really like what Snow says to Regina about him, "he's kinda and then Regina retorts "he smells like forest" I can tell she does have an attraction toward him cause that was a weak retort.

Despite Emma living in the real world, I like the fact that this time she's not so stuburn and skeptical as before in first season. Deep down we see she knew something was missing, there is a soild back and forth between both Hook and her hopefully that becomes a dynamic latter on. Liked that whole business with the blue potion that Hook offers her which is suppose to fully restore her memories, sort of like the whole red and blue pill business from "The Matrix". Emma has only a small amount of believe in everything Hook has said and lead her toward but sometimes for believe to have strength that's all it needs, and Emma of course makes the right choice and drinks the blue potion. It's true that by doing that she is giving up a life of peace for her and her son, but her family and friends need her more than she needs that lifestyle. Plus that life was by it's nature a lie and kinda empty when you think about it, so there really was no way she could be truly happy.

And of course we see Storybrooke in existence once more, which really brought up many questions. What happened in that year (or years depending on how time moves there) in the fairy tale realm that brought them back to our realm. And what other characters have came back and what have they done, I'd like to know if Regina and Robin are in Storybrooke. We of course know the new villain is the Wicked Witch of the West, which give me two more questions, what happened to Oz and what about Dorthy and three of her friends the Lion, Scarecrow, and Tin Man are they all in Storybrooke also? Well, like with all books we read we'll just have to wait till we turn to the next page.moreless

I was getting a bit tired of the Neverland story so NYCS was a refreshing change which will certainly keep me watching. The new BFF dynamic between Regina and Snow is also a welcome shift . They have good chemistry when on the same team so I'm interested to see how this new relationship between them develops. Emma sleeping with a flying monkey? I'm surprised she does'nt need therapy!
  • And we're back!

Finally after the long wait OUAT is back and just as interesting as ever. Obviously this episode was never going to be more than getting us into the swing of things and catching us up to what has happened in a whole year, but ogomg it was so good.

Really loved everything that happened in NYC and Emma's sutbbornness is not only extremely frustrating but also crucial to this show! I wonder what Henry is going to make of Storybrooke Take Two.

Meanwhile the scenes just after the return to the Enchanted Forest were very good. Regina deals with her pain and also meets someone we know to be her true love. We also meet our new villain, and wicked always wins! Apparently.

I'm just so excited - this episode set a brilliant premise for the rest of Season 3 and I'm so looking forward to it! Simply perfect!

Also nice to see Christopher Gorham - really like him on Covert Affairs!moreless
