  • RECAP Last Episode Please!!

My brother and I have been "patiently" awaiting the recap for this final episode. We both loved this series and have been avid followers. We've both "recap freaks" and anxiously await recaps of all of our favorite shows here! Whomever does the recaps here, do an excellent job. Hopefully they aren't sick or something. Please put up the recap for the final show soon!
  • It's been real, and it's been fun. In fact it's been real fun.

I admit I was leary of the new (s7) OUaT. I decided to give it a chance, not to compare it to the old show but to judge it for itself. I'm glad I did. This season (so far) has been as good as any in the past. and I am bummed that it is the end. Some shows lose their way and decline after 4 or 5 seasons but some keep on delivering what I started watching them for in the first place. OUaT is, without doubt, one of the later. I fully expect that , come May, this show is going onto my list of shows that ended too soon.
  • my favorite show

OMG! I have loved once upon a time from the very first show that came on 7 seasons ago. And the new season only shows that it is still awesome as a show. Last nights show was the best and it throw me for a loop with all the new stuff that's going on. I love once upon a time and I can't wait until March 8th 2018 for it to come back on and start the battle of the witches. I can tell this battle is going the be the BEST! Please keep it up people who made the show because you have a huge fan in me a 37 year old man that love fairy tales and how you have brought them to life. Thank you so much.

  • Look like some real touch

It is representing some realities which are really deep.
  • Once Upon a Skeptical

I loved Once Upon a Time for 6 seasons. I looked forward to it every year. I am so sad that this will be the last season but I was happy about how season 6 ended just about everyone with their happy endings.

When this last season started I was really upset. I thought that they had taken Hook from Emma and it defeated everything that they did to make us feel good about the ending last year, and then to say that she would only be in one episode made it worse because then I knew they wouldn't be together. I was put to east on the second episode, as I am sure all of you were, that it was a different Hook and not the one that we have come to love. EMMA IS PREGNANT! This is everything we would have wanted... well except fro her not being a season regular that is. Now my concern is how can they tie this up? These 6 season has been about the importance of family and love but Henry will never get to meet his baby bro or sis? Will he not introduce his family to his wife and daughter at the end? Will we get this reunion but only have a stand in actress or weird whispers of Emma's name as to why she couldn't be there. What about Grandpa and Grandma and Neil? The spent so much time having us love these characters and then gave a season where we might have been able to part ways feeling like things were resolved and then gave us another season where we don't actually get a taste that they are all still together. It just frustrates me that they can't hold out for one more good season with the people we love. If they wanted to make a whole story with Henry why not make a spin off where the OUAT characters could visit, why give us this strange last season that is totally from left field? It just makes me feel like that happily ever afters they all worked so hard for just didn't happen.... way to think about the fans that tuned in every week and were loyal to you.

I am sorry for all the negative. On a positive side this might have made an ok spin off series. I'll keep watchimg hoping that in the end I will feel satisfied. It has a peaked my interest. Who is Roger's daughter? How will everyone wake up? Who was that dreded lady that was chained up? Could she be Roger's daughter... I mean he is suppose to be old so his daughter might not be a young girl. Who is his love interest and can I stand seeing him with someone other than Emma even knowing it isn't the same Hook? I guess I will stay tuned to find out. The truth is I am a romantic that believes in true love and family. All I want to see in the end is that Henry and his WHOLE family are reunited and that every has found their happy ending. Is that so much to ask for?
  • Give Lana Parrilla an Emmy award

She's the best actor on the show.
  • So much ***phobia here.

Just a note to the people who pretend not to, along with their counterparts who outright are so afraid of homosexuality, they choose to channel that fear into hate. Maybe it's the indoctrination from your upbringing, or maybe it's a suppressed realization that you may be a latent homosexual yourself. A few minutes out of 6 seasons and over 130 episodes have caused you to turn against a well developed series.

Nearly 40 years ago, I briefly lived in Richmond Va. I was friends with a bi-racial couple who were living together. Their bravery was amazing. They literally could not go out in public together without some people attacking them with the same hateful rhetoric I've read in the comments below. Sometimes they tried to get the attackers to explain what was wrong with their relationship, other times when the frustration was too strong they attacked back.

I would have liked for this nation to have come further in accepting mixed-race relationships over the last four decades. Nonetheless, the change is very noticeable.

We may be another half-century away from true acceptance of homosexuality, but I hope it's not that long.

Think about it a second. How is your life directly affected by mixed-race couples? Or homosexual couples? Just don't let it bother you.

Maybe try talking to some gay people and find out what it's like for them to be so violently hated by people who have never even met them. It's a tough thing to deal with every day. Don't think for a second that they "chose that lifestyle". Why would someone choose be hated so much?

So just lighten up. If you're not gay, then simply don't have a relationship with someone of your own sex. It's that easy.

BTW, I'm straight, and have been in a mixed-race marriage for 30 years (next March).

Remember, don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things.
  • Always in my heart

If ever there was a show tailor-made for the things I loved to watch when growing up, this show embodies it.

Providing a modern twist to many Disney/fairytale characters has been a theme which never gets old and I've enjoyed watching the journey of many of these characters.

I love the cast and the various storylines, with of course the classic narratives that drive the show, including: Destiny, love, light, darkness, and hope.

Although some others may see it as just a tv show, it truly is a pleasure to escape into the Once Upon a Time universe that's been created. And to follow the characters that I have grown up knowing, but re-imagined, is a wonderful opportunity that I'm grateful I have found.

For this reason, the show will always be in my heart.
  • Season 6 should have been the final season

I've been watching Once since day one. Never missed an episode. I knew Emma wanted to leave the show, and I enjoyed the final episode so much. I even cried to watch my favorite characters FINALLY getting their happy ending. But episode continued... to become the most disappointing ending I seen. And then I found out that most of the major characters are not returning!!! Well, I hope the writers and producers read this. I created my own season 6 ending. It ended with my beloved characters getting their happy ending. That is what I will remember. I've already deleted Once from my recordings on my DVR. I will not be watching season 7. Shame on the money hungry producers to think they could do this to me and their remarkable characters!!
  • Why did the writers get rid of the 3 best characters?

Once upon a time was all about the charmings. Now ye have got rid of all the best characters just coping the series back from the start. It's not going to be the same it's going to be worse without Emma. I loved once upon a time but after this I have lost interest. I would have given this show a better rating but after the last episode I was so devastated.
  • is it a XXX version of once upon a time

  • Can writers come up with something better than hard luck Emma stories?

Sorry for the long post here, but as a family my daughter and I have watched this show since it first aired and have gone through this crazy wild ride, almost Mr. Toad-ish, Once Upon A Time show creators have taken us on.

I think the writers here need all the help they can get? How many characters are you going to lock up in the nut house with amnesia? Do all the curses have to be centered around memory loss? Come on. So many creative ways to deal with Jennifer Morrison "Emma Swan" leaving the show. It's like every character that's an impediment to evil gets locked up! And Henry, as the author can't do anything about it? Just visits her and reminds her she's the savior and is being manipulated by the Black Fairy? Disney writers, is this all you got? Time to listen to your fans or eliminate your "author powers!" Poor Henry was the most underdeveloped character of them all. And if you bring back another character to play older version of Henry, shows no respect to the actor who originally portrayed him. Jared Gilmore played Henry in outstanding perfection! Started out as a young kid and he was the full essence of hope! Loved that he was given the power of the author but he never got to do anything with his powers only when it was convenience to the Disney writers. Awful.

Here is how I would end season 6:

1- Emma wins the final battle- to a point and yes, at hefty price. Black fairy was the embodiment of the curse that Regina used to send the characters to Storybrooke. Why not have Emma's light magic send her and her parents back to the Enchanted Forest where it all began? Snow is pregnant and she and Charming decide NOT to put Emma into the tree that sends her off to storybrooke. Emma defeated this curse so this sad pathetic hard life Emma had in the real world never happens. Henry isn't born obviously because Emma hasn't been born yet. Regina's original curse is tampered with because of this final battle of good and evil. It does send Regina to Storybrooke but not as the town's mayor. There is a re mayor in town, and yes that will be the Black Fairy or even Rumple. Poor Hook remains in Storybrooke with Regina and Rumple. No one knew this was going to happen nor why, but Hook is forever changed- bitter, angry until he receives news that he must find the new savior. He's hoping is Emma but sorry Hook, its Baby Robin.

2- Regina learns that Zelena is trapped back in Oz all powerless. Rumple as the dark one reveals that there is a new savior and that he and bad old mummy would make sure the savior is never found. Regina somehow learns that the new savior is a child- her niece, Baby Robin. She and Hook team up to find Baby Robin before Rumple and Black Fairy do. Baby Robin is the new savior because her mother's sacrifice of losing her magic for the good of all is redeeming, and the wand that was used to defeat the black fairy had her magic and somehow Emma left her light magic in it too! Bring back the Zelena actress later on in the season, She's amazing!

Why the show went downhill for me:

What were the writers thinking in making Rumple also the crocodile in Peter Pan, Belle's Beast and the Dark One! Come on. This character is major overkill! Loved the twist that he was destined to be the original savior, but come on, he's way too many characters. This placed the Belle character in such a meaningless level and no growth of a role. Belle could have been the headstrong, courageous, even a savior at one point herself of a character. She came across as ridiculously stupid and she's supposed to be the most intelligent of the fairy tale characters.

DO NOT bring back Jasmin or very weak actors and the story line was ridiculously centered only around Agrabbah. I agree with other viewers, the Frozen story arc was the worst ever.

King Arthur ruling the underworld? And he was really a villain? Come on! Camelot story arc could have been expanded to something greater! Like the whole fairy world came from Camelot too. Also, let's not discuss Tiger Lily being a former fairy now lost her wings. This was just terribly weak and unimaginative.

Rumple believed his mother's wild idea of becoming the Black Fairy so he isn't destined to become the savior? Why even make the Black Fairy to be Rumple's mother in the first place? And not to mention that Rumple's father is Peter Pan! Rumple has been the character that has been the most prostituted so to speak, in this entire show! Yes he's a good actor, but he doesn't have to be ALL the characters. This is Once Upon a Time and not Once Upon a Rumple!

Writers, get back to the drawing board and give us creative stories that are true to the characters' origins.

Let's see what journey the writers will take us on in Season 7. I'm ok with losing the Charmings as their roles became more supportive in nature but losing Zelena and Belle is a punch to the stomach indeed.
  • The Music is Way too Loud

It's so annoying that the music is SO loud that you can't hear what everyone is saying. I hate it so much! Y'all should get your act together because it's not enjoyable if you have no idea what's going on because you can't hear it.
  • Why is there a freakin GAY scene

I just wanna know why did the producer put a lesbian couple on once upon a time. Like Dorthy and Little red riding hood a couple that isn't even a good twist. That scene just ruined the whole show for me. I will never look at the show the same way I had before. Like you had snow white and mulan support that. Like I know snow white is all for love but u just had to make her support that sh**. The producer needs to find a way to split this up and never have a gay or lesbian couple on here ever again. Like the show was just fine without a gay couple. What's next snow white falls in love with Regina. That would suck don't do it but it would suck. But I really like your show just not the gay part. oh question... was riding hood and dorthy gay in real life? or is the producer gay? I have nothing against gays it is just that ruined the show.
  • you people are hilarious

lol@the hysterical "parents" pretending to be outraged. But they have NO PROBLEM with straight couples kissing such a silly mindset. I hope your kids haven't seen the black people in the show either lest they try to emulate them! Also major lol @ people saying this is a family show. Gay people have families too you silly geese, my god you guys are whacked out of your skull. Thanks for the laughs tho!!
  • Wrong platform

I'm a huge Disney fan and grew up learning and loving many storybook characters.

I just watched the lesbian scene with Red Riding Hood and Dorothy.. What the hell? I was upset when you made Mulan a lesbian as well. Really!? I don't have a problem with liberal shows having gay/lesbian characters such as Mitch and Cam in Modern Family but changing, perverting and corrupting age old beloved storybook characters? Wrong platform for this agenda push. It makes me sick and has greatly lessened my liking of the show.
  • Please dont cancel this show

I really dont want this show to be canceled at all. Its my favorite TV show and if its done I'll be really upset. It seems all the shows I do like they get canceled. I love once upon a time and I even buy the seasons and watch them again please dont cancel the show
  • I really love the show....

I loved the show since the beginning and started to watch in on Netflix my favourite was seasons one, two and three. For some reason after that I started to like it less, for one when ever I watch the show it looks like there is way more contrast making it look darker and you can hear every single breath the character is making. one thing I like is how the evil queen is back because I don't seem to see the evil queen anymore now. I want the show to be like it use to be, I mean snow and charming don't really go on any adventures anymore and I would also be cool to see hook and Emma to go on an adventure together like they did in season 3 when they went back to the enchanted forest, I liked that. And being gay isn't something you should stop watching the show because of, i mean your kids are going to see two genders kiss sometime in their life so why not now when there young. Trust me it won't hurt them!
  • Greatest Show Ever!

I think that "Once Upon A Time" is a Fantastic and Wonderful show I just can't stop watching it. My favorite characters are: Regina Mills/The Evil Queen, Emma Swan, Henry Mills, Zelena/The Wicked Witch Of The West, and Ingrid/The Snow Queen. I hope the adventures continue with another season after S6 and I hope they these characters in the show from my favorite movies:

    Little Nemo: Adventures In Slumberland

    The Magic Voyage

    The Princess and the Goblin

    The Secret Of Nimh

    The Dancing Princesses

Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princessess

    The NeverEnding Story

    James and The Giant Peach

    Babes In Toyland

    Little Women

    (Don't Bad Mouth my Review)

  • Season 5 a no go

Ok, so I have loved the show since the beginning. I loved the characters, the development of them or the consistency like Snow White, but season 5 has gone way off the rails, and it isn't about the lesbian scene. I honestly applaud them for this, however the story line is now riddled with holes and the new characters are just used for marketing techniques. For instance, when they threw in Frozen, the popularity of the characters and the fact that Disney owns ABC is all it took for them to throw them in when the whole first 3-4 seasons was about creating NEW characters based on the fairy tale stories we've heard before, but putting a twist in them. It got better when they added the TRUE ice queen story, the only hook that kept me watching. Now with season 5, I thought it was cool to have an Aurthur storyline, but I'm so sorry Liam Garrigan, you are just not the actor for this job. I shuddered every time I saw you on screen and it wasn't because you were supposed to be evil. Also, when Emma came back as the Dark one, I thought, "OOOO cool, they're going to play with a dark Emma! Maybe because she's supposed to be the savior, she will be the worst villian of them all!" Jennifer Morrison, I'm sorry but please be your own character and don't try and copy the acting of Robert Carlyle as the Dark one. You took your role too seriously and didn't give me the feeling of being evil at all. Even with the twist when Hook turned out to be a second dark one, you forgot you were the dark one as well. Also, WHAT THE HELL EVERYONE! WHY DID YOU TURN ON EMMA WHEN ALL SHE'S EVER DONE FOR YOU IS HELPED YOU WHEN YOU WERE WORSE OFF--- Rumplestiltskin, I'm talking about you! Henry, you of ALL PEOPLE should stick with your mother! You NEVER stopped believing in the good of everyone else, what made you think your MOM would be worse off than PETER PAN! After the episode where Hook turned on Emma (for what?!? Saving him? Honestly, if Emma could retain her personality, you can fight it after all she's done for you), I stopped watching. Now I understand that HADES is in the show, dressed as the Hades from the Disney movie, but he DOESN'T RETAIN THE CHARACTER TRAITS THAT DEFINED HIM! Where's his sense of humor, his sass? Hmmm? If you're going to add new characters, make sure that you have a firm hold on the characters you've ALREADY DEFINED throughout 4 seasons. Please script writers, get it together. I want to watch and enjoy the show again.
  • First couple seasons were good but..

The first couple seasons were great and very exciting but after that the stories just got kind of boring and I'm sorry but what is with the actress who plays Emma, she always sounds like she just sprinted a lap of the set before each scene- she pants so hard it actually distracts me from what she is saying sometimes!

  • 're episode 21 season 5

This episode is too fuckin unbelievable why the fuck dose hook get to cum back and ALL the other good guys whom av died cannot. I stopped watching it. Hate Emma n hook togather she left n go to fucking hell. Why the fuckin producers never jus let the fucker moved on man :(
  • Oh Dorothy

What juicy red lips you have!

lol at all those people complaining about a lesbian relationship appearing on this show, and the two characters kissing.

Funny how these people can think they can bring up their kids believing in a merciful yet merciless god, who loves everyone except the ones he wants you to hate. Yet they cannot live with reality!

Being gay is not contagious, so dont worry your kids wont grow up to be gay just because they saw 2 women kiss. Or maybe they will and they will be too afraid to tell you cos they know you love your religion more than you love your own child!

Children do not hate, it is adults who raise their kids to hate.
  • Once upon a time

I will not watch this show any more because if the lesbian scene. I loved this show before this season. I can't believe that the producer decided to bring that into this show. Unbelievable.
  • Fills me with happiness

Once upon a time is such a sweet loving show. When I see hook and emma together I feel like anything possible! On the last episode when they split I started balling becuse that's how much this show means to me! Once upon a time is not just a show for me, it let's out all of my emotions. Sad, Happy, angry. It's a perfect show and defenalty my favorite!
  • Stopped watching after season 2

Why not create a whole new character and make them gay ? they created a whole new character in Emma , why not do the same with a gay character ? it could have worked very well . why always "turn" a straight character gay ? Mulan is not gay , she's a tomboy that's all . this show was ruined from season 2 . of course gay storyline are not the main reason for that ( bad acting, bad writing , bad costumes , bad/too much casting ) but it's one of the reasons, for sure .

ps : to those complaining , you should have known better than to trust this show, how could you have missed the signs in season 2 ? (mulan)
  • So Long Once Upon A Time

I'm pretty bummed about ABC's decision to air this episode of Once Upon A Time which attempts to idealize a romantic storyline and make-out session between two female characters, especially when this time slot and show are deliberately targeted to families. Some folks say that it's ridiculous to protest, equating any objections with an attempt to maintain an irrational perspective that homosexuals do not exist. This characterization is simply false. The outcry has nothing to do with denial of reality--everyone knows that homosexuals exist, infidelity exists, polygamists exist, swingers exist, etc. Additionally, regardless of anyone's behavior, everyone has value and deserves compassion. The thing is, morality exists, too. The behavior that you choose matters to both you and everyone around you that you influence and impact. Just because something exists doesn't mean that it should be idealized or deemed appropriate entertainment material for families.

Ideals matter, and they're critical to our society and the kids that we raise in that society. The ideal situation for kids is to be raised by both a mother and father who care for them and care for each other over a lifelong commitment. The ideal situation for an adult is to be married to a spouse of the opposite gender who complements their perspectives and impulses and teaches them about the opposite gender in ways that their own gender and other acquaintances cannot.

It all comes down to one very basic and important idea. Men and women are both emotionally and physically different from each other. Hormones are different, brain structure is different, and instincts are different. You don't have to be married very long before this becomes surprisingly apparent in ways that you never realized before. This isn't to say that one gender is superior to the other; it's to say that there are significant differences that should be valued and appreciated, rather than demonized or nonsensically denied. Understanding and appreciating these differences is crucial to understanding and appreciating what it really means to be a "good man" or to be a "good woman," and it has a major impact on our ability to raise the next generation of good men and good women.

Caring about and valuing homosexuals doesn't require idealization of their behaviors, and people of all walks of life should be able to recognize the importance of upholding and fighting for unbroken homes with mothers and fathers who uphold their vows and teach their kids to be good men and women.

I've had fun watching Once Upon a Time for the past several years, and it's really one of only two shows that I've consistently watched. Unfortunately, I won't be watching any future episodes, as I think their stated goal to normalize homosexual relationships is incredibly destructive to everyone's interests.
  • Another show ruined by producers pushing an agenda

I have loved Once Upon a Time, especially the first three seasons. I love how Emma came to believe, I love Snow and Prince Charming, and I love Emma and Hook's romance. I love the idea of true love.

Unfortunately, the writers turned true love into true lesbian lust, and I find that revolting. A VERY small percentage of people are homosexual, and those of us who have normal (yes, I said normal) passions do not want to watch the minority engaging in homosexual relationships.

There just was no need at all to introduce that into a show about fairy tales, a show that many families watch together. As they can see from reading the comments here and, I'm sure, the comments sent to ABC, people are not as stupid as they think. The writers can't trick us into thinking that this is normal behavior just by showing it on television.

It would be great if movie and TV writers and producers wrote for the majority and kept the content clean (including what they show for heterosexual relationships).

I am very disappointed very angered by how the writers are portraying Disney by turning it into a LBGT characters with having a passionate kiss to boot was uncalled for.

This was a family show in my home and watched it every week but now NO way.

I agreed with many of the posts out here.

Wrong move to do with the show..
