This is another very good one, once again it's another standard setter.

Not much I can really say, I did like some of that business in Storybrooke, one of the best things was seeing both Regina and Emma both working together, there was almost a buddy cop vibe in a way. From seeing them both getting their plain to smoke out the culprit, by baiting her in the town meeting, and I even liked a little of that back and forth conversation in the stakeout; it was funny seeing Regina a little bored, she could always buy a PS Vita. Of course we know who the culprit is it's really no secret as we see the human form of the Wicked Witch of the West, truth be told that actress looks a lot better (and hotter) without the green makeup. There was one moment which I thought was a little sad when Regina gets to see Henry again, only he doesn't have any memories of her. Let alone Henry is different in some way persona wise, he's more of a gamer and doesn't really read much. Not that it's that big of a deal, but in a way it was just an indicator just to show how Henry truly is different, and this of course acts as a motivation device for Regina to get all of the memories back. But also why people in Storybroke are disappearing, it sees the Wicked Witch is making them all into flying monkeys, so it seems she's building an army.

However the real supprises are in the flashback and the end. I liked some of the back and forth between both Robin and Regina, hopefully we'll see more happen. It's true there is friction between them but as a saying goes "Rome wasn't built in a it's funny how Regina gives Robin some grief but there are moments when both warm up a bit and even work well together, that ought to tell both something. But I even like some of the things he said to Regina about finding another way; it's true venturing another path isn't easy but it's better than going nowhere, and that new path is a lot closer than Regina thinks.

And of course we discover that Regina's blood curse has be unlocked which was how the Wicked Witch was able to infiltrate the Castle. It's true it's really no supprise as to how, because we discover that she's Regina's half sister. Man, the family tree just gets bigger and more confusing yet interesting because if you think about it that would me the Wicked Witch would be Snow's step aunt technically. We see the Witch's or one of her motivations is that she has a bit of an envy complex, we hear that Cora somewhere along the line abandoned her and resents the fact that Regina has so much time with her that she didn't have, though trust me she really didn't miss much. So we see both of them talk it out and they proclaim their rivalry; it was kinda blackly funny what Regina says at the end which is she has a purpose to be around which is to destroy the Wicked Witch; hey, it's a start anyway.

And of course in the end we find Rumple is alive which is the good news so fans can stop fretting. The bad news is of course he's captive but there also something wrong with his mental state as he has resorted to using that voice when he was in lizard form. Till the next page.moreless
  • Far beyond anything I expected!

Flawless as usual - and what an episode we got. A huge connection revealed between Regina and the Wicked Witch, although I did see it coming as they were hinting to it all episode with the blood magic stuff.

The scenes in the past year were interesting enough - there were some slightly slower moments, but also incredible scenes at the foremost of which is Regina's sleeping curse and that chat with the 'Greenie'.

But what I enjoyed most were the scenes in Storybrooke - the partnership of Emma and Regina is just so fun to watch! And also, the scenes with Regina longing for Henry are just so amazingly done!

But I think it is fair to say that the last scene stole the show! We knew our malevolent imp would be back, but this is certainly not the reappearance I was expecting! Wow! Wonder what the Greenie has planned...

I can't get enough of OUAT these days - I can't wait until netx week!moreless

First and foremost: Lana Parrilla rules my world. Perhaps it's just my extreme liking of her (character) getting along with the others (other characters) and feeling her pain Regarding Henry (!) She's one of the most talented actors I've ever seen. The entire episode had me completely attentive. It was well acted, well written, well directed and well just great! This show is one of the best discoveries I've made in a while. Greenie witch is a great addition also. And it was great to see Little Red Riding Hood take an Intelligence break from Gabriel.moreless
