One Piece

i love one piece it used to be inhabitted 4kids. but i watched japanese version (and dub even though it was bleh) .now its saved by the people whoo remastered dragon ball z dragon ball yu yu hakusho and dragon ball gt (stupid fillers). my fave. character is franky (cutty flam). i h8 robert (robin) and nami there annoying robin is helpful once in a blue moon . nami is only good at navigating and should not fight .She didn't and can't make her own weapon. this anime just isn't all about fights and eating sensu beans. this deserves a 10 out of 10.

One Piece is one of the Greatest Animes of all time. It has everything anyone could want. It has action, comedy, tragedy, and comedic romance. The dubbed version of One Piece may not measure up to the Japanese version, but it has gotten a lot better through time. I just hope one day, it will be like the Japanese version, just in English. One Piece is about a kid named Luffy who wants to become a pirate and travel the Grand Line. On his adventures, Luffy finds true friends that are willing to do anything for each other. So Luffy and his crew travel the Grand Line each with their own ambitions to fullfil and Luffy's is the biggest. Luffy wants to be "King of the Pirates!"

One Piece is one of the greatses show that i have seen in along time. It is about the straw hat pirates who are good guys. It has its funny thimes but is amostly action. FUNimation is a great dub, i lot better than 4kids for one piece it save one piece i love both one piece and funimation right now for that. devil fruit are a great idea for how to get powers. the show is about pirates wicth is great and how the characters are nothing like amost pirates is just funny and great. I loveble show to wacth.

Peronally I find this show to be the most entertaining animes I have ever watched. I have heard the dubbed version does not give justice to the japanese version due to the translations, but since I haven't watched any of those, my opinion hasn't wavered. Monkey D. Luffy is the captain of a pirate crew that is bent on traveling the grand line. Along his adventures, he encounters new challenges that push him beyond his limits, and gathers new friends. The plot behind this story is so huge that we can expect the series to run for a long time into the future. The best parts about the shows could easily be the fight scenes or watching Luffy be his carefree, hilarious, self. I find myself laughing hard at some of the stupid stuff that actually takes place. Overall this show has its serious points and can still make you laugh. With a great plot that deepens as it continues, I find this show to never dissapoint. Thats why I give it a ten.

Ah, where do I begin? I absolutely love One Piece. The storyline, the characters, the places, everything is just amazing. There is so much creativity put into this masterpiece. I prefer One Piece over other animes (like Naruto) because One Piece is not super-serious all the time and tends to have a humurous side. It's so neat watching from the beginning as Monkey D. Luffy sets out, gaining new crew members and valuable experience on his way to the coveted treasure. There is just one problem I have with the show. It tends to drag out certain parts for too long and has a lot of filler episodes. But that can be overlooked. Long live One Piece!

My favourite show ever... I love it! But I mostly read the manga more then watch the show, but still! It's the best! I hate waiting a whole week just to see it on Saturday. But waiting gets me ready! Anyway, even though the voices are still hard to get use to, it's okay, cause I know One Piece is in good hands with Funimation... I hated 4kids tv... I still hate it. It made great anime shows... well... awfull... I hope that I never have to see or even hear about 4kids tv ever ever EVER again... I mean it!

When 4kids had this show scenes, episodes and even entire arcs were cut out. Sometines for no reason too. The music was plain and cheap. The character voices were annoying because they always had to sound silly. Characters could not drink beer or carry real guns. It was lame.





Now that this show is not being dubbed by 4kids anymore One Piece Has better voice acting. The voices now match the characters. The music is better because it matches the moment. The story is a lot better now because episodes and scenes arn't cut out. This show aimed at people older than 4!

One Piece is one of the best shonen anime series out there. It's a series with a very well developed and thoroughly explored world, the adventurous theme of it is what really makes it a worthwhile series. The bonds between Luffy and crew and all they go through is handled extremely well, it doesn't focus too much on a single crew member. Other characters such as the Shichibukai and the Yonko, along with their relations to the Strawhat Crew are well-handled also. Many of the antagonists are among the most original (and at times zany) I've seen. Oda makes sure to give each of his characters, not just the Strawhats development and a coherent backstory. The mysteries of the series such as what is One Piece, and the secret of the Poneglyphs, the story behind Gol D. Roger and the Lost History contribute to what makes One Piece so interesting as well. The art is different from what an anime fan might expect, but don't let it put you off. One Piece is a great series and is definitely worth the time.

Ah one piece. That grand adventure about a boy who wants to become king of the Pirates. In my opinion this show is underapreciated. This is mainly because of the bastards at 4kids who DEMOLISHED the dubbing of it in America. Anyway this show is actually pretty good. I like how original everything is with the whole pirates thing vs the Navy. You have here in this show some of the most memorable villans since DBZ, and that's saying something as DBZ villan's Freeza,Cell,and Majin Buu are instantly recongnized by even non-hardcore fans. After this show was taken away from 4kids (THANK YOU GOD!!!!!!!!) it was handed over to CN. Which they did not edit just about anything which I loved. Everything in the dub was all good...until the Alabasta arc ended. They CHANGED the voices of EVERYBODY. Which was Downright STUPID. I hated the new voices everyone sounds like they're on some kind of drug...or some crap like that. That was the only thing 4kids did right was the voices and now some idiot at CN wants to change it. But all in all it's still good.

Woot!! Talking about the best pirates anime for the pass decade "gaiking" has been replaced by the new era of pirates call one piece. From my perspective this anime mostly is picked from the real life pirates for the pass few century. Currently they reach to the world black holes call triangle bermuda or in the series call ghost area. Couldn't wait to see what will going to be happen at the next.





Walking skeleton, it as the same as what we saw at the Pirates of The Carabean! The captain jack sparrow which fight against the giant octopus, err which is not yet happen in this anime.

one pieces a classic its one of my fav shows.theres luffy hes made of rubber cause he ate a fruit called da gumgum fruit which turns u into ruber.theres zolo a swordman,he uses 3 swords 2 firgt with.he dosent show his fellings often.then theres nami my fav charater,she use 2 steal from pirates until she met luffy,then she became a pirate,shes da navigator.then theres sangi,hes da cook,he has a crush on nami ,but she knows.well thats all iam going 2 say about one piece,its da best show anyone could watch.if u never headr of one piece,well thats ur lost.if u want 2 watch it its on cartoonnetwork.

most of my friends dont know i watch one piece. everyone i know hates one piece and nobody knows i watch this:o well a few people do but not many. this show is basically about a pirate named monkey d luffy who ate a cursed fruit that turned him into a rubber boy. how is that a curse? u may ask. well whoever eats the fruit loses the ability to swim and considering that monkey d luffy is trying to be king of a water based tyranny, that cant be a good thing. a treasure was hidden by a great pirate in a land called one piece. whoever finds the treasure will e wealthy and crowned king of the pirates. luffy is after that treasure because he wants to be king of the pirates but u can be sure he isnt the only one!. this show is about the perils and adventures luffy goes through while looking for one piece.

king Gold Roger was executed, leaving a huge pile of treasure in "One Piece" behind. Whoever claims the "One Piece" will be named the new pirate king. Monkey D. Luffy,is after that goal he has A great sense of humor, some damned good friends, an undying determination This show is about Monkey D. Luffy, a guy who becomes a pirate. Luffy ate the Gum Gum fruit which makes him rubber. The world he lives in has a lot of different Devil Fruits. he travels with different people and they form the Straw Hat Pirates. They include Zolo, Nami, Ussop, Tony Tony Chomper, Sanji,and Nico Robin.

One Piece is Awesome. No other word for it. It has a great storyline, great villains, great comrades, and great consistency. Plot twists are here and there but thats no problem, you'll lose them in the action only to remember them later when you need to. Its just, amazing. The only way to understand it's awesomeness is to experience it yourself (the MANGA, not the anime)


There are some problems though. The series is waaaaaaaay too long. Its 10 years in the making, has 400+ chapters and its end is said to be at 1000 chapters. Although it is fun to read and it is a great series, I doubt that I'd still watch every chapter every week 10 years later.

I have the manga and I watch the TV show. I've seen pirate-based animation before, but nothing is better than this show. pirates everywhere. The characters are funny.It makes the animation more funny. Especially Luffy. Could he do something right?





About the animation, it's good so far. But lately, some new characters have unpropotional anatomy. Another point, some episodes have bad coloring. example : When the Strawhat Pirates arrived to Skypiea, there was cloud everywhere. The colour's too bright for me. It's not eye-catching, it's eye-cracking. Then what? pink fur for Pierre, Gan Forr's bird?





As usual, japanesse animation has more conversation and less action. I prefer reading the manga than watching the show.





But hey, the animation shows Luffy's gesture, which is the most unique gesture in the show. The fruit devils hold the most important aspect in this animation. Without them, every battle is not more than a wasting time scene. Then, endless adventures are waiting for them. And each adventure has everything: fun, action, batlle, and drama.

This show is absolutely awesome both in Japan and right here in North America. This show is about Monkey D. Luffy, a guy who becomes a pirate. Luffy ate the Gum Gum fruit which makes him rubber. The world he lives in has a lot of different Devil Fruits, Cursed Fruits. He joins up with a lot of different people and they form the Straw Hat Pirates. They include Zolo, Nami, Ussop, Tony Tony Chomper, Sanji,and Nico Robin. They are on a quest to find One Piece, the treasure of the late great pirate king, Gold Rodger. They go on tons of adventures and are currently trapped within the Rainbow Mist. This show is very great and is one of my top 10 favorite shows.

Luffy is like every normal boy of his age, only two things about him differentiate him from the rest: he wants to become the pirate king and...he's a rubber man!One piece, the ultimate pirate treasure, as well as the show's name, is Luffy's ultimate goal, if he manages to attain it, as Gol D. Rogger the former pirate king said to crowd before they kill him, he'll manage to make his dreams come true.While on the beginning of his long adventure there is noone to accompany him, along the road he meets many people with great fighting potential that are willing to become his crew and along with him be recognized as the greatest pirate crew in the world!Will Luffy manage to obtain one piece or will his enemies stop him?

ok so nothing or no one can replace your best friends but if i had a top 10 fav cartoons and anime list this would be there. even if a pirate king sounds slightly strange, it is rather original, you have to admit that much. and the cursed fruit? it does sound rather yummy and i love fruit. im making myself hungry now. i wonder what kind of powers i would get if i ate a cursed fruit? if they were real of course. did you know its really hard to type 100 words when you only have about 50 in you mind. there just over 100 words done. see ya.

I've been watching this show since 2005, so thats for 3 yrs. It has the best characters ever. Since it doesn't broadcast the anime anymore, I read the manga. Luffy has the most incredible will power, I have ever seen in any anime, because he just keeps fighting and fighting. I hope the One Piece Manga never ends. Well since I'm waiting for my 100 words to come up, I'm just going to right naything that is random lol. His name's Zolo, he's like a Samurai in the L.A.D.Y Nami's not shy, Ussop's doing the marksman thing. Well Good Bye.

It rocks. Every episode is amazing. Even the filler episodes, which are not even half as good as the normal ones are 10/10 stuff. The maker is a mentalist! It is crazy. Yet all in a very very good way. I can't spot 1 thing wrong with it. Except the dark period, in which 4kids (better known as 4crap or 4shame) destroyed the whole thing. But only to be recovered by the saints of anime, funimation. If it were the only thing on TV I would not give a dam. It is by far the best anime ever made. :)

One Piece is a show about a young man named Monkey. D. Luffy who ate a strange fruit which gave him the ability to stretch like rubber. So now he strives to become the king of all pirates with his crew of pirate gang members. This show used to be horribly dubbed by 4kids but now is way better along the lines of a great childrens anime. The new voices are well done (to some degree) and everything is much nicer and well done! Whoever is the current dubber (I forgot) is doing a good job with a good anime! Cheers to One Piece!

First of all, anyone who thinks that horrid voices and terrible acting, crap-for-writing puns and jokes drilled into the head, inappropriate music at every serious moment, and character bastardizations makes the 4Kids dub superior to FUNimations dub is doing one of two things: lying to themselves, or just plain lying. That's not even everything wrong with the 4Kids version.





Anyway, on to how it is now. For once, the voices match the characters and the VA's acting gives the characters personalities that aren't insulting. Luffy is as hyperactive as ever, but he doesn't yell every freaking second, and his VA makes his serious moments surprisingly powerful. Sanji's not a Brooklyn dork anymore, and is now the suave, wannabe-womanizer he's supposed to sound like. Usopp is still a cowardly liar, but is now actually funny now that he's not the idiot comic relief he was in the 4Kids dub. Chopper's not a gruff-sounding dork in his large form like he was in 4Kids, and his normal voice, although rather feminine, is still cute to fit him. Also, Robin's not a hick anymore, but is actually rather intelligent and calm.





The writing in the show is no longer targeted towards the children hiding in the lower end of the gene-pool. "Jokes" and puns don't litter the air like dust in a haunted house, and the rewriting from the original version to the US version is very minimal, and in some cases it works better (Bellamy explaining the Knock-Up Stream), yet in a few it's just unnecessary (the card game ending between Bellamy and an unnamed character). The jokes that are actually in the show are actually funny, (Usopp's scream, the classic Luffy line: "Your face looks weird"), and they don't demean the speaker's intelligence.





Better yet, Japanese references aren't gang-raped by the censors: the simple "shouting-lines" commonly seen are left alone, and Kanji is no longer wiped clean. I have yet to see any riceballs, but I'm more than certain that I won't be seeing any COOKIES.





All in all, FUNimation did indeed save One Piece, if anything from a lifetime of ridicule by the fans and haters of anime, and us haters of 4Kids. Those who deny this don't know anything about quality programming, or have just never watched the show.

This show is about a boy named Monkey D. Luffy and his dream to be king of the pirates. It is such a glorious show! It's filled with action, emotion, drama, excitment, and humor! And the best part is that it's being recently dubbed by FUNimation, who made One Piece a better show and will be one of the greatest, maybe even better that Naruto! My very favorite character is Sanji, because he's cool and I adore his "love cook" side! I love it every way that I can! I saw every episode that there is so far in both Japan and the new dub! And I read every chapter that was traslated! This show is so great, I hope that it can last for a long time!

One Piece is a great anime but people don't realize it because 4Kids got it and gave it a bad rap (in more ways than one LOL) in the US by screwing it up in the US. Such a shame because it is truly awesome. It has exciting action, unique characters, hilarious jokes, a well-written plot, top-notch voice acting, excellent and great character development. But that's the original Japanese version. The 4KIds version has TERRIBLE voice acting, awful excuses for jokes, and completeley unnessecary editing. But now FUNimation has it and it's getting more popular. The new dub is also VERY improved despite some editing. I hope people give it a chance now that FUNi has it.

This show was once dubbed by 4Kids. It was a good dub. With well placed music, funny jokes, and excellent voice actors. Unfortunately, Funimation took all of that away. Thus giving me very very little reason to even watch it anymore. There are way too many silent moments, a lot of things that just get boring after a while, and there are even some things they forget to edit. And they took out Sanji's lollipop! Now they'll have to cut out anything involving it! Funimation has dubbed a lot of anime well in the past, but this anime was not meant for them. They should've just let 4Kids have it.

One piece is an absolutly amazing anime starting an incredibly simple minded teenage boy named Monkey D. Luffy.


As a young boy he actidently ate the Gumou Gumuo No Mi, an evil fruit which turned his entire body to rubber (Excluding his teeth and blood) at the cost of never being able to swim again. He has huge stength and even huger dreams. He is going to be king of the pirates! He has an eight member crew right now including Zoro the swords-men, Nami the theif/navigator, Ussop the marksman and lier, Sanji the cook and ladies man, Chopper the doctor and Tanuki, Robin the archiologiest, and Franky the cyborg and repairman. One piece is amazing. It's plot is constantly catching even the best story predicters off-guard, it's characters are so real you feel like you could reach out and touch them, and it's setting never feels fake. Oda-san has found the ultimet story line that seems to constantly remind you of what has happend before. None of the story is going to be used once and only once. It's humor makes your sides hurt from laughing, and it's trageties make you cry like a baby (Yes, I have cried while watching this show.) This show may turn some people off with it's different stlye, but the plot defenatly makes up for the weird style. In conclusion, This show is Awsome!

This show rocks. It is about a group of pirates(and who doesnt love pirates?) who all have dreams. These pirates-called the straw hat pirates are led by captain Straw hat Luffy-whose dream os t find a treasure called One Piece and become King of the Pirates. He makes a group of pirates(who are all extremely great in one area) that all have there own dreams. There is Swordsman Zoro (or Zolo in America) who wants to become the world's greates swordsman, Navigator/theif Nami who wants to make a map of the world, marksman Ussop who wants to be a brave sea warrior, chef Sanji who wants to find the all Blue-were the fish from everywhere live, Doctor Chopper a reindeer who wants to fin a cure for everything and archeologist(?) Robin who wants to do something (I don't know I only watch the dub). Anyway great story great battles (Luffy vs. Don Kreig and Ussop and Chopper vs. the Mr. 4 team are extremely great) and it's funny.

This is the most flawless, creative, and bestest anime you could think of. Filled with endless adventure, drama, comedy(+A) and animation, this is the highest rated manga series in Japan and will be for a very long time. I can gurantee it. Its hard for me to describe such an anime but the popularity knows know bounds, starting off with a young 16-17 hilarious captain with a hilarious crew of liars, thieves, and swordmans. T All characters are perfect, and the artwork is top-notch and although people did not read/watch the One Piece due to the 4kids dub anime in the US, this is no exception! I suggest you start watching/Reading right for you will soon be sent to a whimsical world of jubilation! Be prepared, raise your anchow, and set sail! But to warn you, there can be too blood and volience at some point which is why I am suggesting to you all that if you are under 12 or older, or if you're as mature enough, you can watch the FUNimation dub on CN in Toonami or the Japanese verion online. Remember, highest rated in Japan!!!!!

Luffy who is on his journey of becoming king of the pirates and on his way he mets a man who uses 3 swords named Roronoa Zoro and a navigater named Nami and a liar named Ussop and a chef named Sanji and a talking reindeer named Tony Tony Chopper and a woman who joins any pirates as possible Nico Robin and last but not least a strong man named Franky and on their way they battle against other pirates as possible in acheiving their goal in becoming king of pirates this is a pretty nice anime not one of my favorites I suppose anyways I like this show and give it a 8.

Allll righte, listen up here. This here's a show about a crew of crazy pirates going after the famous "One Piece", the treasure left by the Pirate King Gold Rogers. Gold Rogers said on the way to his exection that his treasure was for the takin' but it was all in one piece. This whole quest for One Piece was started with a dude named Monkey D. Luffy, the crew's captian. Later on to join the fun is Ronoa Zolo, first-mate and pirate hunter (there's an irony, Nami as navigater, Usoppp as sharp-shooter, Chopper as docter, and Senji, lastly, as cook. Ok, that about wraps it up. I think it's awesome, but don't take my opinion for it, go watch it!(P.S. For those that rend the last verison of this review, I completely apolize for that. My bad.)
