In Kuro's flashback, the sailor who was hypnotized by Jango in order to capture the fake Captain Kuro is none other than Captain Morgan, from the first storyline involving Zoro. Morgan was rewarded a promotion to Captain, and gets his jaw fixed with a metallic one. The 4Kids version cuts the scene where Kuro breaks Morgan's jaw.

ADD ALLUSIONS-
The scene of the birds flying in the air and Usopp struggling to get up's order got mixed a bit. Most of the scene where Usopp tries his hardest to stand is cut out. When Usopp cries out that he's a brave warrior of the sea, the scenes with Luffy and Zoro after were cut out and went straight to the Kuroneko pirates laughing. Luffy's scene was put in a couple of seconds later for only a second..
