A japanese quote Luffy: I'll destroy it all. Luffy: Nami is my naviagator Luffy: Nami your my Nakama.
Sanji and Usopp: We're wanted! We're Wanted!
Arlong's Shark and Destroy is also a Secret Attack on One Piece Grand Battle and Grand Adventure.
In the japanese version, Luffy kills Arlong.
Luffy takes Out Arlong with His Gum Gum Axe.
Luffy gets 30 million berries on his head. Spoiler: Later he will get 100 million berries on his head. He gets the 100 million by defeating Crocodile/Mr.0. Major Spoiler: He gets 300 million berries on his head after he defeats Rob Lucci at Enies Lobby.
This is the last episode of the Arlong Arc.
Towards the end of the episode, Shanks appears and after 10 years, he's still alive!
This episode was originally three episodes, Japanese Episodes 42, 43, and 44. There is also a scene at the end that's from Episode 48.
Captain Chaser's name was originally Captain Smoker because of his Devil Fruit (dub: Cursed Fruit) powers.
3 episodes that were in the original Japanese version are skipped. 45, 46, and 47. They all involve a sidestory of Buggy teaming up with Alvida.
The ep is three, count em, THREE episodes merged into one. Also a sizeable portion of the story is cut out. Heres what missed to my knowledge: -Rest of the Arlong fight, inculding scenes missed in the climax at the top of the tower. -Episode showing the aftermath of the battle and Nami leaving her village was skipped. (Johnny and Yosaka stay behind. This is the reason why they're missing,) -Of the reactions to Luffy's bounty, scenes of Kaya, the Baratie, and Luffy's hometown are missing. -And lastly, the scene with Shanks and Mihawk was cut short. After Shanks says he can't leave, he meant Mihwak couldn't leave without having a drink with him.
After the Gomu Gomu no Yari on Arlong, Luffy taking his feet off of Arlong's chest is cut out. After that is a surprised Usopp from the behind which is replaced by a different close up shot of Usopp's face with his mouth wide open, that part comes from after Luffy is thrown into the wall later on. After that a series of events go missing. The villagers cheer and Luffy comes down thinking that Arlong might be dead. Arlong wakes up and everyone notices how his eyes changed. Arlong grabs Luffy and whips him around, sending him into Arlong Park's wall. In the dub, after the Gum Gum Spear, Luffy suddenly appears in the wall and asks, "is it over?"
The title of this episode is the same as Eiichiro Oda's one-shot comic.
