News of Peyton's condition spreads like wildfire through Tree Hill. Brooke is devastated by the news but not for the usual reasons. Meanwhile, Peyton and Lucas practice for their future, when they spend an evening taking care of Jamie and Andre. Also, Peyton gives her blessing to a Brooke/Julian union.moreless
  • Loved it!!

I loved this episode. One Tree Hill is good about lightning things up after a bit of drama and after the drama of Sam getting kidnapped by Xavier and Brooke beating the crap out of him this episode did just that.

I love the double date between Nathan, Haley, Chase, and Mia. It was nice seeing Nathan and Haley just having fun and hanging out. And Mia and Chase are really cute. I like them together. The date at TRIC was so much fun. Nathan and Chase doing karaoke was hilarious and of course so was Nathan's dancing because we all know he can't dance.

Lucas and Peyton were great. It was so fun watching them try and handle Jamie and Andre. It was so funny. You would think Lucas would have a lot of experience with Lily and always being around Jamie, but I guess with two young boys and being sort of ambushed into watching them it was a bit overwhelming.

I love the idea of Brooke and Julian. I didn't really like him at first, but they work together. I really like them!!

My favorite part of this episode was the last scene with Nathan and Lucas with the walkie-talkies. It was so cute. I love the scenes with them together because they are just so great. It was really sweet hearing them talk about having kids and the girls lying next to them.

Overall, like I said I loved this episode. Chad did a great job directing it!!moreless
  • Unfortunately, the series is heading downhill if the current trend continues. Whilst I didn't think it initially, this latest season was perhaps a stretch.

    "Poor"
Let me start by saying that I am a long-time fan of One Tree Hill. I have loved the series from the start, and I found the first 3-4 seasons to be outstanding television.

This 6th season has been poor. The character of Quentin was a standout and I was sad to see his departure.

This season, the storylines are paper thin, and I am finding it difficult dealing with several of the characters, Peyton inparticular.

Jamie (and Quentin's brother) are being featured way too heavily. I am not watching this show to see a 5 year old try to act - it is quite painful at times - though he tries hard I guess, being just a kid.

Hayley, who is in my view the best actor in the cast, is barely seen now - which is a shame. I don't mind Nathan's professional basketball storyline, whilst I feel there is little to no direction for Lucas right now.

The Mouth/Millicent storyline I can do without, but I don't mind them together as a couple.

Mia and Chase - sorry, but who cares? This is an obvious example of why the show is struggling.

And now Lucas and Peyton are expecting a baby? I don't think this is the direction the show needs to go down, but I am happy to be proven wrong.

After the "Nanny-Carrie" fiasco - I really want this show to find it's way once again.moreless

In this episode "A Hand To Take Hold of The Scene". Peyton revealed to Brooke that she was pregnant. Lucas confirmed to Haley that Peyton was pregnant. Haley told Nathan and Sam accidently let it slip to Julian. Brooke and Julian have a business meeting turned date, and they kiss! Peyton and Lucas watch Jamie and Andre. Thay are very, very tired by the end of the night. Mia and Chase double date with Haley and Nathan. Mia and Chase share a kiss at the end and confirm a 2nd date. Julian congradulates Peyton. This was one of the funniest episodes of the season and I really enjoyed it =].moreless
  • This has to be one of my favorite episodes, I haven't smiled this much in awhile.

I love Mia and Chase together, I think that they are going to make such a cute couple. The walky talky thing was cute, I was an only child and always wanted to play with them to, but didn't have anyone to do it with. Brooke and the boy need to stop trip and just get together their hang ups are stupid. Jack Daniel's story is so heart winching, I hope he stays on the show. Him and the girl should get together, while they were sitting their I kept think that they were going to kiss. After this episode I am excided about next week.moreless
  • Not much has happened, but you've got to love this episode!

I have really started to lose interest in this show... Seasons five and six aren't really my favourite and I think that the show is dragging a little, but more episodes like this could change my mind. Once again, we are taking a rest from the tension of the previous episodes, but this time, we are doing it in a glorious way. I don't remember laughing this much for any show in a while... Haley was especially funny! The way she tricked Lucas into telling her that Peyton is pregnant and the fact that she signed Nathan for karaoke was hilarious (although, I did hope we'll get to hear her sing...). I also like the idea of Chase and Mia together, and Julian and Brooke as well. It's only logical that Brooke would like him, since she and Peyton have the same taste in men. Lucas and Peyton were also great with the kids and Millie showing up drunk was a very funny moment. The character that has become particulary interesting for me is Sam. She was great on this one as well. All in all, I hope we get to see more episodes like this.moreless

    • One of the movies Lucas and Peyton rent for Jamie and Andre to watch is "Trouser Hound" which was featured on the wall of Adam Reece's office in episode 6.12 "You Have to Be Joking (Autopsy of the Devil's Brain)."

    • When we see Mouth throwing darts at the picture of Owen, there are three darts on the dart board/picture. He then proceeds to throw two more darts, while Brooke throws one. But when we look at the dart board/picture again it shows only three darts. Assuming they all hit the board, which we hear from the sound, there should be six darts on the board.

    • This episode was directed by One Tree Hill star Chad Michael Murray (Lucas). This episode marks his first time directing for television.
