This episode certainly had its moments, but this is just not the same quality One Tree Hill during the early years, or even at the beginning of this season. Why build toward Sam meeting her birth mother and then not even show it at the end of the episode?

Nick Lachey was mildly enjoyable in his role, but let's not sugarcoat it: this was stunt casting, just like Gossip Girl is doing with No Doubt in their finale.

And I have to question Nathan getting an offer from a professional team just a few games into his run. That doesn't happen too often.

But it was the Lucas and Peyton scenes that really irked me. Those characters are just so boring and I personally cannot wait until they leave this show. Take Chase and Mia with them and it'll make my day.moreless

I loove One Tree Hill so much, A Kiss To Build A Dream On, was wonderful. Brooke, again proved to me to be one of the best younger female actresses on televison. I thought she was really moving as the "emotionally neglected daughter". The flashbacks of Lucas and Peyton were absolutly adorable and hilarious. I am so tired of the Nathan - Basketball drama, lets get on with his life shall we. Haley was good, it seemed like it took alot out of her to let someone else record her song. Victoria has once again proven to always have something up her sleeve, but for some reason Sam likes her. I love Victoria/Brooke/Sam scenes, there great. Overall, I give it a 10! =]moreless

Ha ha i thought this episode was really funny tbh, i thought it was pretty funny how Nick Lachey was all 'You really like to use first and second names' and Mia was all 'Its a Tree Hill thing' Because yeah they do that alot - But its kinda funny. Also that line 'Why didn't you tell me you lost your virginity to Brooke Davis?' 'I didn't. Why, did she say i was a virgin?' - HILARIUS. =] Aww Jamie and Skills are like the best characters on there cause their so funny. The school dance was cute but does anyone else think its a bit weird how like the adults are fine with Jamie having a crush and going on a date with his teacher? BTW, i liked the Peyton and Lucas scenes but Godd, the way they put her hair was so wrong! Ha ha i sorta like Victoria when shes nice and when shes harsh :D I don't think this shows dragging on its got some good story lines. Tis all dudes (Y).moreless

Peyton is really going crazzy since being put on permanent bed rest, but i mean i would to your stuck in the house all day long with nothing to do and your all by yourself.... that really SUCKS!!!!!!! And I still think that Lucas fixing up the comment for peyton is romantic.... Also peyton blabbed it all when she told Mia about the whole Chase Brooke Virginity thing..... Jamie Has hios first crush that is so cute.... he Just might follow in his parents footsteps and be the next naley couple... And If i were Brooke i would freak out to about sam and victoria hanging out but its not so much as Brooke is freaking out as to she might be jelous because when she was Sam's age victoria wanted nothing to do with her. And maybe it might be a good i dea to hide the letters that sam's mom wrote to her but at the sam time Sam is entitled to know that her mom wants to have something to do with her even if it is 15 years to late. And i think that nathan shouldn't take the job in europe because that would mean he would never see haley and jamie but then again nobody want to see them leave tree hill that would suck for reall.... but i think this episode was centered more towards Lucas and Peyton., because it has alot to do with the comet and the day before peyton left to go to LA, but even still this was a very great episode.....moreless

  • Nathan gets an offer from the scouts but turns them down. Haley gets an unexpected offer from none other then Nick Lachey who recongizes Mia which is awesome in her defence. Jamie goes to his first dance at school, miss lauren is champoringmoreless

ok let me tell you why I give this episode a 10 honestly I don't have a reason. I don't think this episode wasn't needed. I thought it was way to rushed, there was alot of material in this episode that wasn't needed at all for example Sam's mother thing, and Victoria being super weird as usual... I still don't trust her at all I think she has a hidden agenda that she doesn't want to be revealed. the flashbacks of Payton and Lucas made the episode bareable. chase and Mia are really good together I like them alot. thank goodness no Mouth and Millie tonight I was totally relieved about that. Nathan finally gets looked at by a scout but again it's not what he hoped for. and I agree this show is finally starting to lag a little bit... anyways thats my review... hopefully next week's will be bettermoreless

    • Goof: In the flashback scene in Peyton's car when Lucas gives Peyton the tickets to The Cure concert, the water behind Lucas doesn't move. The scene was obviously shot against a background instead actual water. Edit
    • When Lucas has the flashback of giving Peyton the tickets for The Cure concert, it was supposed to be the day after the events that took place in the season four finale. However, Peyton's hair is noticeably longer and Lucas' hair is noticeably shorter than in the Season 4 finale: in effect, they look exactly as they do now. Edit
