This episode certainly had its moments, but this is just not the same quality One Tree Hill during the early years, or even at the beginning of this season. Why build toward Sam meeting her birth mother and then not even show it at the end of the episode?
Nick Lachey was mildly enjoyable in his role, but let's not sugarcoat it: this was stunt casting, just like Gossip Girl is doing with No Doubt in their finale.
And I have to question Nathan getting an offer from a professional team just a few games into his run. That doesn't happen too often.
But it was the Lucas and Peyton scenes that really irked me. Those characters are just so boring and I personally cannot wait until they leave this show. Take Chase and Mia with them and it'll make my day.moreless
