Goof: When Haley is at the party and dancing with the other girls to "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls, her shoes alternate between white sneakers and pumps as the camera angle changes.
During the first 2 minutes and 45 seconds (more or less), there's no sound, except for the music.
When the gang goes to the River Court, Brooke tries to hit the basket with the ball, but you see that after she throws the ball, the shot is edited to make it look she actually hit it. Yet it's a shot where another shot is overlaid with it.
When Mouth is talking to Shelley, he tells her the reason he didn't call or see her is that she asked him not to, but in "Prom Night at Hater High" he calls Shelley the day after the party when they had sex and she said not to call her.
Possible goof: James Lucas Scott is born on graduation day which is most likely in the first few weeks of June. This means Haley would have become pregnant near the end of August or the beginning of September (which is when school should have started) and Nathan and Haley were barely speaking then so how is this possible?
Since James Lucas Scott was born on graduation day (probably some time in June) than the day of the shooting (which was in January if you notice the date of death of Keith and Jimmy's tombstones when Lucas looks at them) than Haley would have been a few months pregnant already and given her size, probably showing already.
When Haley leaves in the ambulance with Nathan, Lucas gets a call from Deb. At the hospital, Karen is rolling into a room and Lucas is there. Haley is rolled into a room and Nathan is there, but how would Lucas get there before or at the same time as Nathan if Lucas only drove a car and Nathan was in an ambulance? Plus, Lucas got the call after the ambulance left.
Throughout the episode we can see Haley's hair and bangs being a little curly.. But in some scenes although it is up we notice that it is more straight and her bangs too.. At the end of the episode when they all go to the rivercourt it is again a little curly!..
Spoiler alert!: There's a lot of references to the pilot episode: -The episode ends with a still shot of Nathan and Lucas, playing one-on-one on the Rivercourt, similar to the same last shot in that episode. -When Nathan mentions having a rematch to Lucas, he referring to when Lucas beat him in a one on one game, allowing Lucas to join the Ravens basketball team (To add, he was actually referring to "From The Edge Of The Deep Green Sea", when they played for their friendship, and Nathan won 11-0. That's why he said "Scared you're gonna get worked?"). -The following conversation: (Lucas is checking Peyton's car) Lucas: You've got to be kidding me. Again? Peyton: I guess. Lucas: Huh. Doesn't look like anything's wrong. You sure it won't start? Peyton? Peyton: Oh, the car is fine. I was just feeling sentimental about the first time we spoke.
The basketball game Nathan is "watching" in the beginning of the episode, when he's holding James, is Duke vs Stanford. These are the colleges that Nathan and Haley planned to go in season three (Nathan to Duke and Haley to Stanford)
When all the girls are doing the dance routine to "Wannabe," Haley is seen wearing the pink high heels she was wearing throughout the episode, but then she is seen wearing white sneakers.
Most of the episode plays 2 weeks after the events in the hospital, yet Lucas and Nathan are exchanging baby pictures and react like they haven't seen them before. It's very unrealistic that with them all being so close to each other that Lucas wouldn't have visited his new nephew his brother or his best friend/sister-in-law, and that Nathan wouldn't have visited his new cousin yet.
When they are counting down to being out of high school, the count down gets to 4 or 5 and starts all over again.
Dan's prison cell is number 128. It's the same as Psycho Derek/Ian's in "Ashes Of Dreams You Let Die".
All the girls knew the dance routine to "Wannabe," and yet none of them had ever practiced it, it wasn't a cheer routine (Shelly wasn't on cheer), and it wasn't an actual Spice Girls routine.
Rachel's middle name is Virginia.
Lucas: I say we move on. Let's never go see Dan... ever. Nathan: You know, this may sound kind of mean, but I'm okay with that. I mean, I got a great wife, I got a beautiful baby son, and I got a hell of a brother. Lucas: Yeah, a hell of a brother who's gonna be your coach. (Nathan gives him a confused look). Lucas: Whitey offered me an assistant coaching job. I'm gonna take it. Nathan: What? When did you decide this? Lucas: About the same time I found out I was a godfather. Nathan: That's great, man. We'll do it together. Lucas: By the way, make sure you play well on December 9. If Skills beats us, we're never gonna hear the end of it. Nathan: (Laughing) Yeah.
Lucas: (to Peyton) I want you to stay but I won't let you. Do you know why? Because I told you before... You're destinated for greatness and it starts tomorrow morning.
Lucas: (Referring to James) Handsome, just like his uncle.
Brooke: (reading from an excerpt from Lucas's book): She was fiercely independent, Brooke Davis. Brilliant, and beautiful, and brave. In two years she had grown more than anyone I had ever known. Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday. I'm not sure she even knows it.
Brooke: (reading Haley's valedictorian speech) Now is the time for us to shine. The time where our dreams are within reach and possibilities vast.
Keith: (to Karen in her heavenly dream) Look for me in the lilies.
Mouth: (to the guy bothering Shelly) What did you say? Shelly: Mouth, it's okay. Mouth: No it's not okay. Guy: Oh no? Whatever geek! (pushes Mouth who falls down) Shelly: (to guy) What are you doing?! Guy: (laughing) Can you believe this? (Mouth stands up). You know I was gonna take it easy.... (interrupted by Mouth's sudden punch in the jaw) Mouth: Yeah, me too. (to an astonished Shelly) He's sorry, you look pretty.
Nathan: (to Haley) You're going to be a great mom, you know that? Actually you already are a great mother, and that's very sexy.
Haley: (To her newborn baby) Welcome to the world James Lucas Scott.
Mouth: Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to another historic night.
(Nathan is showing off a picture of James to Reece and two other girls. Haley comes up behind them.) Reece: Oh my gosh Nathan your baby is so beautiful. Nathan: He is, isn't he? Haley: Hi, sorry can we just have a second. Reece: Congratulations. Haley: Thank you Reece. (The three girls leave.) Haley: Um, we need to go home. Nathan: Why, what is it? Haley: Because I know we promised we wouldn't do this but I called just to check in on the baby and Deb's not answering the phone, there's no busy signal, there's no answering machine and she's not answering her cell phone either. Nathan: Ok ok, let's not freak out ok? It doesn't mean my mom's not on top of it. Haley: Your mom the former drug addict, attempted murder who dropped a loaded gun in the café? Nathan: Wouldn't hurt to check. Haley: Right.
Deb: (to Nathan and Haley) You have the rest of your lives to worry about children. Trust me.
Haley: Ok, we'll have fun. I'm just saying maybe I should give Deb one quick call just to check in. Nathan: Hales, come on. I miss the boy too but we're not going to be those crazy obsessive parents, alright?
Deb: The two of you are driving us crazy. Haley: The two of us? Nathan: I might have called a couple of times. Deb: (to Nathan) 6 times. Haley: You crazy obsessive parent. Deb: (to Haley) You called 8.
Deb: Go. I'll watch him. Haley: Oh, I don't know. Nathan: We're under aged mom. And there's going to be drinking, alcohol, probably some drugs. (Nathan and Haley both smile.) Deb: You're going to the party and you're going to have fun. We insist. Now go. Bring me home some drugs. (Laughs as she leaves.) Isn't grandma funny?
Nathan: So you know there's a big party tonight, kind of like a last hurrah for all the seniors? Haley: Yeah I know, but what are we going to do with the baby? Deb: Cue the crazy grandmother.
Skills: (sings) If you wanna be my lover you got to get with my friends an- (sees Lucas) What? It's catchy. Lucas: Uhu. Skills: You know, my place ain't gonna be too far from USC. We're gonna be boys for life. Lucas: Hey, do you guys play Nathan and Whitey this season? Skills: Um... December 9 at 3:00. And I plan to score at 3:01, 3:02, and 3:03. You gonna be there, right? Lucas: We'll see. Skills: "We'll see"? You know what, kill all that "boys for life" stuff, dog. As a matter of fact, we ain't even friends right now. Lucas: (Laughing) Right.
Chase: (to Brooke) Be gentle with me.
(Bevin is doing a kegstand) Skills: Drink baby, drink. Bevin: I don't want to drink. I just wanted to be upside down.
(Karen and Keith are kissing) Lily: YUCK!
Peyton: All right, let me see that baby. (Nathan takes out the picture of James he's been showing off all night and hands it to her.) Peyton: Oh God. Nathan: Not bad huh? Peyton: Good work buddy. Nathan Points to the picture.: I made that.
(Mouth kisses Brooke) Mouth: I always wanted to do that. Mouth: (passes by Chase) Sorry man. (Brooke looks shocked) Chase: I said you could hang out not make-out. Brooke: See what happens when you leave me alone all night.
(at the police station) Dan: My name is Dan Scott. I killed my brother.
Peyton: Hey, you, what have you been up too? Brooke: (jokingly) Flirting with Lucas. Peyton: Oh, yeah? How'd that turn out? Brooke: Eh, so so. You know love triangles are so high school. Peyton: Seriously. Brooke: We made it, didn't we? Through all the tragedy and jealousy and confusion. We made it. Peyton: Yea, hoes over bros, right? Brooke: I love you, P. Sawyer. (they hug) Peyton: I love you too, B. Davis.
Lucas: How's fatherhood? Nathan: It's awesome. How's brotherhood? Lucas: Awesome.
Random Boy: Name? Brooke: Brooke Davis. Random Boy: I'm Sorry. I've got strict orders not to admit Brooke Davis. Brooke: Excuse me? Whose stupid party is this anyway? Rachel: It's mine, bitch. And your fat ass isn't invited. Brooke: Ahh! (They hug) Oh my god!
