  • Here we go again.

I didn't not enjoy Cryin' Won't Help You Now it's juts the storylines all feel a little overplayed right now.

We know Lindsey isn't taking Lucas back. Something which the show drummed into once again. We know Lucas loves Peyton and that she loves him. They did this again. We know Dan killed Keith and they can't forgive him. It just all seems like we've seen it all before somehow. And Haley putting Jamie's thank you card in the bin so obviously was a stupid mistake...

Brooke and Baby Angie were very sweet though, and a great team. These are my favourite scenes. At least Mouth and Millie found new ground by saying I love you. Two episodes left this season, don't remember if they get better or not...

  • Dan's dying, again

Heart attack, fire, suicide, and now he needs a heart transplant. But will Dan Scott ever die!!?? All this and he is still alive. I am with all of them. I can't forgive Dan and if I was in their position I would say good riddance, too. It just sucks for Jamie. He loves his grandpa, but it's kind of a catch-22. Dan has been nice to Jamie and just wants to get a chance to get to know his grandson and vice-versa, but he's Dan Scott.

Mouth finally got his chance and he struggled at first, but ended up doing awesome thanks to Millie. I really like them. I don't always care that much about what's going on with Mouth, but it's nice that he has finally found the right one for him.

I love Baby Brooke. It's such a cute idea. And the designs are great. Victoria was wrong. Brooke is smart and knows what she is doing.

It was sweet of Peyton to go see Lindsey to try and convince her to go back to Lucas. I'm glad Lindsey gave her the book so that Peyton will finally see that Lucas still loves her and has been hiding his feelings this whole time. Now finally they can get back together!!moreless
  • brook as finally coming into her role as a mother, peyton goes to see lindsey and lucas and nathan have to deal with dans problem.

i know i've said it a bazillion times before, but the storyline with brooke and the baby is totally unrealistic. okey so if we look away from the whole her being 22 and wanting a baby and the whole her getting a sick baby on a trial basis.... how long has she had angie, two weeks??? she got attached really fast, no? and when she's at the doctors with angie and luke, where are the representatives for the adoption agency? in situations like these the sick babys parents would be there, representatives for the organization(s) that brought the baby to the states would be there, representatives for the hospital would be there.... and the way brooke keeps questioning herself, "am i good enough, what am i doing, what have i gotten myself into" just show that she isnt ready for kids just yet!! and i realize that she is concerned abiut the baby but she has no say about wether or not angie should or shouldnt have the surgery, the baby came to the states to have it, she cant say no, even if she does feel that its too dangerous...

there are two many holes in this storyline for me to believe it... ok enough about that...

dan: ok so he is dying, i believe that he is, i mean it's not like he didnt have it comeing.... but if lucas haley and nathan really want nothing to do with him, how about getting a restraining order?? i mean nathan clearly mentioned that dan was violating his parole..... if thats the case a restraining order shouldnt be too hard to obtain.

peyton: just feel sorry for her, i mean she is in love with a guy who claims to be in love with lindsey and when she tries to get them back together, she gets proof that lukas does love her back, he just doesnt want to admit it... arrrggghh. luke is anoying. i notices her and haley talking about her real father(the guy ellie was with) but whatever happened to her brother (real-derek) i mean espesially now that she is so lost and is going through a tough time, it would be nice if her brother came back to guide her(like he did before)

q and skills: i knew q would apologize, he just needed to cool off

mouth and millie: these two annoy me, they're so cheezy, and so sugar coated, blah!moreless
  • Errr... bad season?

So more things that don't make sense happen. Peyton goes to Lindsey, which in my opinion is really boring. Q quits the team, but comes back! Gasp! What else happens? Jamie wants to see Grandpa Dan and everyone starts to find out about his situation. Mouth gets a shot to be the sports reporter, but completely screws up, but then magically does better when Millicent arrives. And then cartoon characters came out and said, "we must give love."Brooke is getting better at being a mother, but is still having problems overall dealing with her job and a meeting with possible customers.moreless
  • "Haley struggles with letting Dan into Jamie's life"

I hated this episode for one reason and one reason only: Haley James Scott. How could she throw away Jamie's letter? How can she be so cruel to deny a dying man's last wish? Jamie is a boy and he should be given the opportunity to spend some time with his grandfather before his death. I am so tired of Haley; she is so whiny, complaining about nothing, telling everybody about how she can't fulfil her dreams because she has a family. She's always losing faith in Nathan, on and off, on and off. Simply put, she is ruining the show. I am tired of watching the Haley James Scott Soap Opera! The rest of the episode was alright, though I still cannot see why Lucas is always with Brooke!? And the whole Brooke baby situation is boring: I seriously don't care what happens. The best part of the episode is either all the basketball tactics created or Dan coming in and mixing things up. And when Milli is playing Halo (though it makes no sense that she just killed someone in online play and then put down the controller to talk to Mouth)

    Two thumbs down for Haley.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (4)

    • When we see Lucas' buddy list on his computer we see Haley's screen name is BigFtHunterHJS. This is in reference to Lucas' goal in his yearbook in episode 4x19 "Ashes of Dreams You Let Die": To write the next Great American Novel and to find Big Foot before Haley.

    • When Lucas is online, we can see that his buddy list includes Lindsey Strauss (Lindsey), Scott23 (Nathan), BDavis (Brooke), Marv (Mouth), JunkYrdDog (Junk), Fergielicious (Fergie), and BigFtHunterHJS (Haley).

    • We find out that Millicent's last name is Huxtable.

    • When Dan tells Nathan of his attempted suicide in prison, he states that he tied a rope around his neck. In the actual episode, he used a sheet from his bed in the prison cell.

  • QUOTES (9)

    • Dan: Without a transplant I'll be dead within six months.
Lucas: But you're dead to so many of us already, Dan. Really, what does it matter?

    • Haley: Look, before the wedding I told Lucas that he shouldn't marry Lindsay.
      Peyton: Why?
Haley: Because I had just read his new novel and when I did I knew right away that he was still in love with you, whether he's ready to admit it or not.

    • (Talking about the new line Baby Brooke)
Brooke: It's fun, it's edgy and every cute baby is gonna drool for it or on it.

    • Brooke: Thank you for being so good today. We make a pretty good team, me and you. I know this surgery is really scary but I'm gonna be right here for you okay? We're gonna get through this together. Yeah and I know I'm not your real mom but I could just use a sign or something to let me know I'm doing okay. (Angie smiles for the first time to her) Okay. It's you and me, baby.

    • Brooke: (In a baby voice) And anyway, Angie is scared of her creepy Aunt Peyton, isn't she? Yes. We like Uncle Lucas better.
      Peyton: Hey!
Brooke: (In her normal voice) I'm kidding. (In her baby voice) We're kidding, aren't we? Yes.
Peyton: I mean it is pretty great that he's helping out. Its kind of Mr. Mom, but its nice.

    • Lucas: How's it going? Better?
Brooke: Yeah, I'm starting to get it down. She's sleeping through the night now.
Lucas: See? I told you you'd be a good mom.

    • Dan: So that's it... you're just going to make that decision?
Nathan: You made that decision for me, the moment you pulled that trigger.

    • Nathan: (to Quentin) I've thrown a lot of punches and every last one was selfish.

    • Brooke: Thank you for being here for us.
Lucas: Thank you for letting me.
