  • Not good.

Deep Ocean Vast Sea was dull. I'm finding it hard to even write a review on it...

This seasons storylines are taking an annoying direction; Brooke/Julian/Alex is silly melodrama. I don't care about Quinn or Clay. The Nathan/Renee scandal is already boring and why should I care about Chase/Mia? Or Dan/Rachel for that matter?

Shockingly, the best bits here were with Millie and how she handles becoming a model. While it's clichd it's interesting to see her turn to drugs to help herself lose weight. This doesn't include anything with Mouth that was just painful.

    Poor poor episode. Get better.

  • Mouth Rocks!!

    8.5
It's hard to believe that Haley is losing faith in Nathan and slightly believing that Renee is telling the truth. I've never doubted Nathan through this whole thing and just spent every week waiting and waiting for this stupid thing to be over. Nathan's reasons for why Haley should believe him is exactly why I've never lost faith in him. He would never cheat on Haley and he would never abandon a child. He is not his father and he never will be. He is better then Dan Scott.

Mouth is the man!! He has had a lot of great moments in this series. What he did in the season 5 finale was awesome, but what he did for Nathan was incredible!! He had his dream job and he gave it all up to protect a friend. I love it!!

I love the idea of Clothes for Bro's. It's genius!! I'm so glad Brooke fired Alex. I wouldn't trust her around Julian either. I don't know what he was thinking and why he didn't tell Brooke right away about Alex.

I really love Clay and Quinn together. They are really great friends and after her divorce is final will make a really great couple.

I can't believe this thing with Dan and him having Renee on the show. This is going to get interesting.moreless
  • Not the OTH I used to watch!

    4.0
This show doesn't looks like good old OTH without Lucas and Peyton. Today i watch this episode and realized that this is not OTH anymore, i don't know, the fact that two of the most dominant characters (emphasis being on the "characters" not the "actors") of the show are missing or the new cast is trying too damn hard to fill those gaps. Plus the only reason, i was still watching this season was because of JAMIE and even he didn't had a part in this episode so go figure.

In addition, i completely agree with the reviews of stewie1423. In my point of view, this show finished with the end of Season 6.moreless

  • Decent.

    7.2
I really hope this is not the end of Alex on One Tree Hill. She's clearly the best of the new additions to the cast and deserves to be on the show full-time.

That being said, this was a decent installment, but definitely not great. Too much Millicent and Marvin, and the even worse Mia and Chase, for my taste. Keep the scenes to a minimum for those four individuals. I think this was more of a build-up to the future, but we do need some answers very soon. What is up with Clay and did Nathan actually do it (we know he didn't, but at least confirm it)?moreless

    • (referring to the call she was going to make to Renee)
      Haley:I didn't do it, I couldn't.
Nathan: That's what sets you apart from her. There's more than a thousand reasons why I could never, under any circumstances cheat on you.
Haley: I don't want to see you lose your dream.
Nathan: Lose her? She's right here, and I'm never letting go of her.
      (They kiss)

    • (after Haley plans to pay off the woman who started the scandal involving Nate)
Nathan: Haley, if I'm guilty of this, not am I only the kind of guy that would cheat on you. I'm the kind of guy that would father a child and then turn his back. I'm Dan Scott. If you think I'm capable of that, you do what you have to do. But I guarantee you, if you've lost faith in me, all the money in the world isn't going to fix it.

    • Nathan: Look, if you want to sleep around, I'm sure there's plenty of guys in Tree Hill who aren't responsible for my career. I could probably help you out with that.
Quinn: And you ever hear the one about people living in house glasses?
Nathan: Yeah, I have. And if you don't like living in mine, you're welcome to move back in with your husband.
      Quinn: Nice, Nathan.

    • Nathan: A retraction at this point won't change anyone's opinion.
      Haley: It might.
Nathan: They'll all just assume you paid her off. We will have, which will just make me look even more guilty. You should know this Haley, which makes me think the only reason you haven't left to pay her off is that you're starting to believe she might be telling the truth. Haley, if I'm guilty of this, not only am I the kind of guy that would cheat on you, I'm the kind of guy that would father a child then turn his back. I'm Dan Scott. If you think I'm capable of that you do what you have to do, but I can guarantee you if you've lost faith in me, all the money in the world isn't going to fix it.

    • Mouth (doing a newscast): Nathan Scott is a Tree Hill local who overcame injury and adversity to achieve his dream, a dream to play professional basketball. But lately Nathan's career has taken a backseat to allegations of an affair that led to the pregnancy of a fan. In my opinion, continuing to report on these allegations without any further evidence of their validity is a reckless attempt on the part of this network to boost ratings. I'm not saying athletes are above the law, but I think it's up to science to determine the validity of these claims, not the evening news. To date there's been no new evidence that suggests that Nathan Scott is guilty of these allegations. And yet he looks guiltier the more that we report on him. For my part I got into sports news because I think reporting on athletes inspires people to be exceptional. And while I've never been an exceptional athlete I can strive to be exceptional in my own way: by refusing to bow to pressure, by refusing to stoop to a level that's beneath me, just like Nathan Scott has refused to. I believe in Nathan Scott, but I also believe in my viewers. I believe you don't want any part in dragging him through the mud. So if you want sports news and not gossip, turn the channel, let my boss know that news isn't just about ratings. It's about people, and integrity, but mostly it's about truth and that still means something. I'm Marvin McFadden and this is sports. Or at least it used to be.

    • Julian (After reading Alex's script): Where did this come from?
Alex: Well I was watching Millicent sleep and she was busted and I thought about what it would be like to be that tragic, and have no self-confidence, and then I just added a boy.
