    I feel like if the do a flashforward of the kids, they should bring back Lily and Sawyer (even without showing Karen and Leyton), but I doubt that'll be the case.


    Does anyone know who will be playing the future versions of the kids?


    And yeah, I could definitely see them doing a Davis/Lydia/Jude triangle. Or at least have Lydia paired with or foreshadow a pairing with Davis or Jude. (I always figured it would be a Sawyer/Davis pairing, but I think there's too much of an age gap there. Maybe Sawyer/Logan? )

    Ah! I was literally just reading a OTH:TNG fanfic last night about a Jamie/Madison/Chuck love triangle that parallels them to Lucas/Peyton/Nathan. But it's got a good twist on that, so it doesn't completely repeat the story. However, I still see Jenny/Jamie/Madison a better NextGen triangle parallel to Peyton/Lucas/Brooke.


    But obviously the show is trying to make Jamie/Madison Naley 2.0. Except Jamie is also Lucas 2.0. So it's this weird amalgamation of Naley/Laley 2.0. (I just don't buy it.)

    I have never thought thought to include Jenny in a possible Jamie triangle because she is 2 years older than him. So i keep seeing Jenny just having her own group of friends and not being included with the younger crowd. haha!


    Now with Jamie, right now i have kinda gone back and forth between the writers wanting us to think that Jamie and Madison are the next generation Laley or Naley. Only because like you said, Jamie is like Lucas #2. And I see Chuck DEFINITELY as the early day Nathan.

    I can't help myself. I mean, wasn't Nicki like two years older than Jake? And Lucas, both of whom she got together with. And I guess for me, two years is kind of my own personal max of who I would be willing to date younger or older than me.


    In my head canon, Jenny always comes back to Tree Hill with Jake for some reason (i.e. he's the Ravens' new basketball coach or something) and she's usually a grade above Jamie (a birthday past the Kindergarten cutoff date, for example, so she's a year behind than she would normally be). But she kicks butt on the court and immediately catches Jamie's attention (either in a way that he's jealous of so there's that rival romantic tension or in a way that he so admires that he's just instantly smitten). And then I usually think of Madison getting pretty bent out of shape over this, because she's been attracted to Jamie since they were kids. (In a way, that kind of reinforces a Laley interpretation, because even though I don't ship Lalely and never have, I always thought Haley had a crush on Luke [that he was entirely oblivious to;which would be the one difference between Jamie and Luke] before she met and got interested in Nathan.) So in my head canon scenarios, her own group of friends are left back at her old school (usually Georgia) and the first people she starts getting to know in Tree Hill are the people on the basketball team, like Jamie and Andre.

    lol. You definitely have. But it's okay. Everyone, including me has their own scenerios of how they think Tree Hill future will turn out.
