As his marriage continues to crumble, Nathan goes into a emotional crisis and reverts to his past bad behavior. Karen continues to struggle with Lucas' decision to move in with Dan and wonders what hold Dan has over their son. Meanwhile, Peyton and Jake's relationship grows deeper. Nathan punched Dan! Ah, finally! I loved that scene so much! I couldn't believe he actually did that! The scene with Karen and Nathan was cute. I can't believe Lucas chose to live with Dan instead of Karen. Karen did so much for him! Excellent quality, as always, and as can be expected from OTH.moreless

As his marriage with Haley continues to go wrong, Nathan goes into an emotional crisis and becomes the "bad" Nathan of the past. Karen continues to struggle and try to figure out what would cause Lucas to move in with Dan. Peyton and Jake's relationship gets greater. This episode is named after a song by Brand New. It's true: Anybody can be president! Thakns to Mouth, Brooke wins the election. Meanwhile, Nathan's turning into a loser. With Haley gone, he slides downhill...and blames Lucas for his unhappiness. What can I say about this episode? Another great episode. I love One Tree Hill, the writers have done so well, on making it an awesome show. I can't wait to watch more One Tree Hill, bring it on.moreless

Brooke is competitive with Erica when campaigning for president. Nathan has turned into a completely different person after Haley's departure. He is drinking and he is skipping school. He is also upset that Lucas is living with Dan, as is Karen and Andy are also upset. Jules wants to get out of Dan's plan, but tricky Dan keeps her in. Peyton and Jake finally realize their feelings for each other. Mouth stands up for Brooke, which ultimately leads to her winning the election. Erica and Brooke call a truce. Jenny is sick, so Peyton gives Jake some money.

This episode was great! I like Mouth and I really want him and Brooke to become boyfriend/girlfriend. Nathan's new (or in this case, old) side is bittersweet for me. It's a little nice seeing his older self come out, but I really liked the nice Nathan too! This episode gets a 10 out of 10!moreless

I luv this episode. All that scenes with Nathan, lonely and broken made me cry. In front of the top, the scene which like better than all wast that when Nathan goes to Peyton house, staied besides the door and said : "yeah Peyton you're right .... People always leave".. i just love that part! i was so sensitive when he said that! Beside that scene, i luv the part when Jakie and Peyton are kissing! I'm so happy for them, and Jenny is so sweet! Broke has win against Erica, she is now the president and i'm glad that she became friend again with Mouth!! :)moreless

    • Instead of the typical "Previously on One Tree Hill" from Chad Michael Murray, Sophia Bush says: "Okay, here is what you need to know". However, this recap includes a scene that never aired in the previous episode: Brooke telling Lucas how Felix and his family went on a cruise in the middle of the week, leaving her to fend for herself in her school election for president. In the previous episode, Felix was very much a part of her campaign. Edit
    • There is a mistake in the scene with Jake and Peyton. As she is talking about sleeping in separate bedrooms, there is a blinking red light on the blinds that looks very much like a camera. Edit
    • When Nathan and Karen are at the basketball court, in one shot you can see Nathan's lips keep moving even after he had finished speaking. Edit
